Leonardo's Italian Bistro

Leonardo's is a significant improvement over its predecessor. The food is far better and the decor and furniture is much more comfortable. The waitstaff and kitchen staff seem to be genuinely excited about the improvements and their enthusiasm carries to the food and service. The crab cakes are awesome and the snapper with the crab meat is incredible. Portions are very generous. It is definitely a great place for a dinner. Their specialty drink, the Lemoncillo martini will knock your socks off. Make sure you ask Roberto to make his special cappuccino. All in all, a great experience. My wife and I enjoy spending time dining at fine restaurants and we were told by word of mouth that we had to visit Leonardo?s. I made reservations for a Friday evening and when we arrived our table was ready and waiting. We ordered the Escargot and Crab Cakes for our appetizer and I have to say the Crab Cakes were the best that I have ever had. I selected the Salada Leonardo for my salad and my wife ordered the Tomato Basil soup which was amazing. We also selected the Rosemary Lamb and Gnocchi Leonardo both of which provided a taste that we had never experienced. We concluded our dining experience by sharing the chocolate mousse. The atmosphere is very inviting and relaxing which provided for an excellent dining experience with a personal touch. We really enjoyed visiting with the Chef who makes it a point to visit the tables when time allows. We will definitely return and strongly recommend others to do the same. Pros: Ambience and Personalized Service Cons: Parking can be a problem but I here that Valet service may be offered soon. more

I have been here in a weeknight and also for lunch. Both experiences were very good. The staff is very attentive, and the chef came to our table to assure that the food was to our liking. The food is great! Be sure to get the crab cakes - they are to die for! I have tasted several different dishes that Leonardo's has to offer, and I would have to say that they were all very tasty. I would highly recommend Leonardo's. more

This is a second Italian restaurant in the same place. This one is much better. The decor inside is wonderful. The food is great, the chef even comes out to talk to you, the manager walks around to make sure everything is going as it should. The wait staff is very attendive when needs be and can be invisible when situation calls for it. The new chef creates wonderful meals, my wife and I been there several times since it opened in Sept of 2006. For dessert ask for the Mousse....it comes as white and chocolate moussein the same glass, ask the waiter to just bring the whole glass of Chocolate Mousse....it is amazing!!! Pros: Food, service, ambiance Cons: none so far more
