Leonard, Edward A, Dvm - Slade Veterinary Hospital

I can not say enough about Slade Veterinary Hospital. They are wonderful with my two cats. I have one who is rather active and she has had two accidents. They have been more then attentive and they saw her right away both times. The drs there have been more then helpful and the hours are very flexible. I know that their office is not as up to date as a newer place but it is very the staff is very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone!! more

We have been taking our various greyhounds here for over 15 years now, so we have seen and done it all with them. While some of the vets have moved on over the years, we have always found them to be very caring and knowledgable. more

I used to love slades I never been too fond of dr Lenonard I had two bad exprisinces with him both time cats nearly died becuse of his care. Or lack of it both times. I called to make and emncency apointment after they sicken my cat they told me they were too busy. \r \r I love Dr roggers but she leaving i be switching vets asap. more

I have to disagree with the negative comments here. I've been taking my pets to Slade for years and have always received timely, appropriate care for my pets. The staff has always been caring and attentive and the facility is as clean, if not cleaner than any other vet hospital I've seen. Even when I brought a cat in, that did not belong to me, that I had seen hit by a garbage truck, they took that cat in immediately and did everything they could for it. When I had to euthanize my dog of 15 years, they did the same thing, greeted me at the door and gave our family all the time we needed to see our pet through, even sending us a sympathy card. I'm sorry there was pee on the floor, that's what animals can do when they're nervous. The receptionist doesn't clean it up as a rule. The vet techs are responsible and I've seen them come up and clean within minutes. more

We have brought our dogs to Slade Veterinary since birth -- they are so incredibly caring and LOVE our dogs!! Our dogs have never minded going to this vet... they have such compassion and are so friendly! We drive 20 miles to bring our dogs to this vet even though there is a vet closer to our home. more

Terrible, unhelpful, uncaring staff. Exam rooms left dirty from the animals before you including blood, hair, and some sort of pussy substance and needles- thank you! I waited a bit and walked out and demanded a clean exam room. I should have just walked out. The Dr looked like he neither slept nor bathed and smelled worse. I had absolutely NO confidence in the exam. I declined the dozen or so unnecessary products they tried to upsell me into including hair conditioners- really??? I took my dog in not for hair and coat issues which he doesn't have anyway- but for a sore hip. Did I mention I was kept waiting for 90 minutes in the exam room after waiting 40 minutes past my appointment time in the waiting area- which was equally disgusting. The receptionist apparently was too "busy" talking on the phone about her hair highlights which didn't turn out like she wanted to clean up the dog pee left by a previous client's dog. I am guess that was that dog's review of the place. I tell you wha more

I have been bringing my dogs to Slade for 3 years and I have finally decided to switch vets. Some of their staff is rude and the facilities are very outdated and dirty. Also, the parking is horrible. more

When my wife and I lived in Framingham, it was a pleasure to take our dogs to Slade Vet Hospital to see the friendly and knowledgeable Dr Martin. At Slade, they take care of dogs and cats alike (not sure of other animals). They have flexible Sunday hours so if anything goes wrong on the weekend, you don?t have to drive out to Boston. It?s a great thing that more vets are starting to open Sundays. PROS: Great knowledgeable veterinarians, Friendly vet technicians, Flexible Hours CONS: Getting out of the parking lot is a little tight, it's in Framingham more

The staff here are extremely friendly and trully are pet lovers. You are greated warmly at the front desk and are usually running on time for your appointment. The vets and vet assistants are knowledable and tell you everything they are doing during the exam. They are available to answer questions as well. I highly recommend them. more
