my wife and i have purchased 4 pairs of glasses from here. first off, dr. kim the optometrist is very nice and very competent at what he does. the comment below mine comparing his skill to a ""walmart quicky exam"" is a bunch of BS. how can you pass judgement on someone's skill if you didn't even use the glasses? as far as the sales department here, jack and the lady that manages the store are the best. they are who i will choose to do business with from this store from here on out. people may complain that this place is expensive but you can always choose to goto america's best or costco if you want to spend $100 dollars on a pair of glasses. more

This is without exception the worst glasses experience I have ever had. A complete sales job from start to finish. I was herded through the eye exam and completely overcharged for the basic exam that I got ($109.00 for a Mall Dr Exam) I expect to pay over $100.00 for a comprehesive 30 min exam from a real doctor... but for the 10 minute joke of a Walmart...Costco... K-mart style quicky exam ? Thats ridiculous!!!! Then came the glasses. I was escorted over to a used car sales type person and the sales pitch began. I found a frame I liked and started to try it on when I noticed it had crap around the nose pads and the temples showed signs of wear, new? I think not!!! I asked if the glasses on the rack were the ones Id be getting and was told I would get a new frame. I liked the frame so I asked them to get me a new one just like it. They said it would take about a week to get a new one. Then on to the lens prices......outragous!!!!. I have a simple single vision glasses prescription and the lenses alone were over $250.00. Not wanting to completely embarass myself by seeming to be cheap. I ordered them. About a week later I picked them up only to find the same nasty crap around the nose pads and the same wear marks on the temples. These jerk wads sold me used frames!!! I immediately asked for a refund and left. Learned my lesson, buy clothes and trinkets at the mall, but buy heathcare and glasses at a real doctors office. more

He was trying to talk above me & talk in circles with the eye tests so that i could sign on for additional services when all i wanted were contacts. He tried to push his contact brand on me & i said i'd try it but i wanted the specific brand i had before as well. Neither worked for me so i wanted an appointment to go back in for a third brand, but his receptionist was very unprofessional & ended up not giving me an appt. I went in for a third brand (without seeing the Dr) & I told the receptionist i needed to see him b/c i needed my prescription changed & she was like a parrot ""this is the prescription he gave you"" over & over (like i was an idiot & didn't understand). She was very rude so i just took whatever lens he had given me (bad prescription) until I went back for the final fit. This time the DR was very quick (& still TRYING to talk down to me). I think he wanted me gone because he gave me various brand prescriptions & let me figure out which ones would work. (This was after the first visit where he told me he'd love for me to try as many contact brands so that they would be best). He changed his tune real quick! Go to Costco! It's cheaper (even if you have insurance) & great customer service! Don't waste your time on this place!! Cons: Rude Employees/Terrible Service more
