Lemongrass Aveda Salon & Spa

I really enjoy the whole "family" there. From the manager Delilah, to the massage I got from Soliel - Everything was just amazing. I plan to get my hair done there soon and they mentioned Becki as being a good colorist, so I'm gonna check her out. One thing to try: the Aveda Tea! It is so good, and they offer it to you when you arrive. more

In San Diego on vacation and made a last minute appointment. I was immediately pleased by the atmosphere of the salon as well as their friendliness. Gregg did an excellent style and cut and I especially enjoyed being treated with all Aveda products. Overall a great experience. And all for a great price more

I've been going to Lemongrass for almost three years now and every time I'm there I love it even more! My husband bought me a gift certificate for my birthday one year and now I am there at least monthly for my waxing, facials, massages and hair styling. I would highly recommend Lemongrass to everyone! The entire experience is completely relaxing and pleasurable from the moment you walk into the beautfully decorated and cozy "home" Tara and her Team have created. From there, you are always cheerily greeted, offered something to drink (I highly recommend the Aveda tea!), and welcomed to enjoy yourself. Tara got me ready for my wedding with monthly facials and massages leading up to my big day. I have her to thank for my "glowing" skin in my pictures and for the ability to truly enjoy my day with no pent-up stressI Rhiana is the esthetician I see. She makes waxing painless (or at least as close as possible) and is so much fun to talk with! Every time I leave after my facial/massage combo, I am almost too relaxed to drive home! Cora is an amazing stylist and the hair experience there is phenomenal. It starts with an unbelievable scalp massage and turns an ordinary "haircut" into special "alone-time" for yourself. Molly cut my hair this past Saturday and it is literally the best haircut I have ever had. After years of struggling with naturally curly hair, this is the first week of my life that I can honestly say, "I love my hair!" The entire staff is experienced, friendly and extremely welcoming, both in the salon and over the phone. Also, the hair products, makeup and accessories are great! I newly discovered LemonGrass Salon and Spa and it is so amazing!!!!!! i needed a place to relax when i get spa and hair services and you can definately relax and get away there.The last salon I went to was loud and roudy with alternative loud music and the stylists were rude. I went for my first visit a month ago, and everything about it was Amazing! There is a beautiful garden you can sit and relax in before you get your service done! MY hair experience was different than any other place i'v ever been.It starts with a great scalp massage, beautiful sun deck where they wash your hair. Then I had a Facial afterwards and it was wonderful! Starts out with a warm foot bath that includes foot scrub and foot massage! It was really like getting a mini massage with all the great skincare advise and the plus of making my skin feel amazing! Everything was Fabulous! I will now be a Lemongrass Local! Great lil craftsman style house. People friendly. Goes down from there. Long story short: sat down, simple hair request that should be done daily...result...after combing out hair-thought maybe she cuts it dry...no I was done with no new change-no haircut..and a hefty pricetag...I was taken aback and even had to ask the girl at register if she charged me for cut as I got none and no that was the cost....gratuity included and still ridiculous. I hate complaining as it makes me so uncomfortable-sucks because I feel let down and was excited for change. For an Aveda Salon and the whole well being spa thing I expected more from it. I feel taken advantage of and will never return and wish I went shopping instead with the wasted money. What a beautiful garden setting. I love the natural products and gentle treatment this salon & spa provides. Each time I visit this place, I feel 10x more relaxed than when I arrived. I travel a lot for business and everywhere I go, people ask me "who does your hair?" I have the most natural and flattering haircut I've ever had and it's consistent. Thanks Lisa!! I've received massage, facials and hair cut with color for years at Lemongrass. Not only is the location exquisite, but the staff is talented, down to earth and a joy to spend time with. I consider them good friends as well as trusted professionals at the top of their trade. I highly recommend this place. It's the nicest Aveda salon and spa in town.
