Because a google search turns up Judy's Book reviews, I thought it wise to offset the two middling reviews of Lemon Grass. I've eaten all over the world, including both casual and upscale restaurants in Thailand. Though there are obvious concessions to locals (steaks, lamb, etc.), Lemon Grass food is as authentic as it gets. There are few places in the U.S. where you can get green and red curries with this kind of flavorful heat. This is certainly a contender for the best restaurant in Syracuse. more

The recipe has a nice location in the middle of armory square. It shares a space with another little restaurant. The restaurant has a very nice feel with white tableclothes and open display. Their desserts are very interesting(when I wnet I had a dessert shaped by a shoe). The food is kinda a Thai fusion cusine, but there are much more authenic better restaurants to get a true taste of thai. Overall, the atmosphere and area is nice, but don't expect down home, true Thai cooking....this is more americanized. more

Great location, no doubt about that, and the decor rises to the location making it a perfect restaurant for the spot. The taste of the food rose to the location as well, unfortunately so did the prices. I was pleased with everything I ate. The spring roll was nice and fresh, but a little bland. The Cashew Stir Fry was very tasty it had plenty of pepper (I ordered a two), I could have taken more heat, but I think some of the taste would have been lost. The scallops were a little over cooked, especially the ones that were on the bottom of the pile. I don't think I would go back, there are plenty of great restaurants in the uptown area that I would feel the need to drive to, but this is not one of them. There are plenty of good Thai restaurants throughout the city. However, if you live or happen to be in the area and feel like Thai, this would be the place to go. more

The lemon grass is a formal restaraunt located in Armory Square in Syracuse, NY. The prices are not as low as some other Thai restaraunts, though the atmosphere and the food make up for the added price. This is a great place to bring a date, and the food is outstanding. I recommend that anyone order the house spring roll, it is the best I have ever had. The food is really wonderful, and the prices are not too high. I would definitely check this place out if you enjoy Thai food. more
