Customer Service is lacking in the store 2/14/2012

If you purchase anything here be sure you won't have any issues with it, OR that the Manufacturer will return it. I purchased a pair of Ski Goggles the manufacturer (Smith) acknowledged had a defect. Problem was I needed a new pair the next day. So I took the googles back only the be told that the have a ""strict return policy"" on any used/worn items. I skiied with these for 2 days, and water was able to get between the double lenses rendering them unuseable. The manager looked at me with doe eyes and told me I could contact Smith since they have a lifetime warranty, but there was nothing she would or could do for me. So, as long as your realize you are on your own after a purchase feel free. But wait the story is not over yet. I then took a walk to a competitors stoe (begins with J ends with s), down the hill a way and bought a more expensive pair of googles. I told them the problem I had with the googles I had with me and they showed me a pair that was only 15 dollars more, exactly the goggles the Smith customer service rep recommended. As I was paying for them they asked if I'd like them to send the goggles I was not happy with back to Smith to see what could be done! They were willing to do this even though I not purchased them there. Now that is customer service. more

Dangerous ride. Rude staff 8/16/2010

My wife rode the ride and the ""slide"" came off of the track about 2/3 the way down. She was going slower than i was. She skinned her shoulder, arm and hand pretty bad burning off the skin. When we went to the first aid station there were 3 others in there wrapping their burns and scrapes. 2 were children and one other adult. When we alerted the staff they were very rude about it and said ""oh yea, you just have to be careful, it can come off the track"". If this was Disney World or Six Flags they would close the ride down immediately and have HUGE signs up everywhere. They acted like it was very common and no big deal. Tim S screamed at the people in the first aid station because they attempted to bandage themselves up without his permission. I would never go back just because of their attitudes. more

Fabulous Attraction! 10/25/2002

The Alpine Slide and Zip Line offered at the Park City Mountain Resort have become the favorite attractions for new comers and locals of the area. The PCMR communications managers, Michell Palmer, does an excellent job marketing this feature of the mountain. I'm told that the Zip-Line has almost become more requested than the long-time alpine slide. If you have yet to try the Z-Line come up and take a drive. It will be open year round. more

The Alpine Slide is a mini version of a bobsled run, except without the ice. Take a ski lift to the top of the slide, hop on a sled and zip down the mountain. The turns swing you...
