My car was totalled and had to be towed by Lees Towing to his lot. Lee and his staff were professional from start to finish. They were helpful and friendly and helped ease the burden of a difficult situation. I feel like they went the extra mile to help me. I will use them again in the future, hopefully in not such dire circumstances! more

$85.00 to tow my car three miles? I am not impressed. Although the people were very friendly, I feel I was overcharged because my car is an expensive model and they erroneously thought I had money to burn. Not the case. more

Called them around 9pm, they were there pretty quickly. Very friendly. Just needed a new battery so they cut me a deal on the cost of the visit, which was very nice. They replaced the battery and tested the alternator, also gave me some great advice on another car of mine. Bottom line: call these guys. Side note: I see a few bad reviews of towing agencies from people who get towed because they park illegally - pretty typical. more

My son's car started smoking and ""died"" in front of our house. I called Lee's and the truck arrived in less than 30 minutes. The driver was helpful, going beyond the call of duty by offering to complete the paperwork at the auto repair center (that I designated) and call me when the car was dropped off. Best experience with a towing service ever. more

Great service, very quick. I called Lee's when a friend broke down about 20 miles outside of town. He was there within 30-40 minutes and had the car up and ready to go in about 5. Took it back to my house and he even parallel parked the car off the tow truck like a champ. The price was very fair for 40 miles round trip. Recommend Lee's 100%. more

Very sad situation 5/10/2012

I was just in Durham today, saw Lee's towing driver yelling, and being unprofessional to a woman. I thought at first there may have been an altercation. I approached the woman afterward who was clearly shaken by this. She pointed out the fact she was in a parking lot that was not posted no parking. My heart went out to her, she gave them all the money she had. Funny the driver didn't even have the five in change to give her. Shame on Lee's for having a driver like that. I guess they are only nice when you have AAA. more

Lee's is the best! 3/31/2012

On my way to a meeting, I discovered that I had a flat tire on my car. I called AAA and within 15 minutes, Lee's Towing had sent someone to help me. This very kind gentleman not only inflated my tire so that my car was driveable, but followed me to Melton's Garage where I had arranged for my tire to be repaired. When I looked in the rear view mirror and saw Lee's big white truck following me, I felt as if I were be protected by a big, tough guardian angel. I didn't get the driver's name, but boy, is he ever my hero! Thank you so much for take care of me in my time of need! more

Excellent Service 2/6/2012

Hi My Name is Tanya and I have had 2 wonderful experiences with Lee's towing, the first one was when I had a tire blow out, I had just came from the bank and arrived back to work, I heard this weird noise but I did not know where it was coming from, later on someone came inside and told me that my tire was completely flat, I called my AAA and in no time Lee's towing came to my rescue, the wrecker driver not only checked out the flat tire, but he checked all of my tires and told me that they were dry rotted. I was very happy to be informed with this information, one I had not long ago brought the vehicle used and was unaware of the tire situation, I was towed to a reliable company of my choice and had all of my tires replaced. more

Best Service! 2/6/2012

Great Service! Really quick. Incredibly reliable. Calling a towing service can always be scary when you are already in a bad situation for whatever reason. I had used them for a battery jump when I was a member of AAA so decided to call them when my Saab broke down. Can not say enough good things. They were quick, polite and efficient. Prices very reasonable! more

Best Service EVER! 11/24/2011

I had the pleasure of using Lee's tow service the other day and I have to say that the service, timing, and professionalism was outstanding. I have used Lee's towing many times in the past few years and I have always been taken care of very well. I was out of town for a few days last year and my wife's car broke down on 85. When she called AAA I had her request Lee's towing because they are the only people I trusted to help her get the car home and keep her safe. I would recomend their service above all others. USE ANYBODY but Lee's Towing 11/12/2011

I have heard from several different people that Lee's Towing rides peoples bumper. NOT COOL. Take repsponsibility for your Company Mr. Gardner. On a 250acre farm we have been robbed several times over the yearsI called to complain about a car being towed by Lee's Towing out of my friends private driveway a stranger we didn't know...I spoke with the owner of Lee's towing to get info of this stranger on private property he wouldn't give any info. Also informend him that the tow truck left deep long divets in the private driveway he was argumentative and defensive. By the way 3weeks later a house was broke into about 5miles away and the same car that was towed out of the private driveway was spotted at the seen of the crime. If Mr. Gardner had given the information as to whom drove this car this robbery could have been stopped, I don't know maybe he's in on it. DONT USE LEE""S TOWING FIND SOMEONE ELSE more

Excellent towing service 11/9/2011

Our car hit a deer on I-40 at 10 pm and was not driveable. Lee's Towing responded quickly to our call and safely towed the car and drove my family to our hotel in Durham. It was a very scary accident. We truly appreciated Lee's assistance and highly recommend him to anyone with car trouble! more

Lee saved my vehicle! 11/4/2011

This morning I had the misfortune of almost driving my Yukon XL off a steep embankment. It was raining, and I was on a very narrow gravel road. Somehow, I drove off the right side of the road and wound up perched with my two right side tires hanging over the embankment (10 feet high) and the left tires barely touching the ground. The first tow truck from Lee Towing assessed the situation and determined that different equipment was needed to handle the job because it was very likely that the vehicle would flip and pull the truck with it. With one phone call, Mr. Lee himself came out with a HUGE tow truck - the kind used for tractor trailer rigs. Not only did he safely pull my vehicle back onto the road, he did so without any further damage. This is amazing given that a large log was wedged in my front axle and a piece of re-Bar was sticking up into the undercarriage Lee Towing is the best around! more

Great service 11/3/2011

My car broke down right in the drive-thru lane at a fast food restaurant. Lee came within 10 minutes of calling and quickly got the car out of the line of traffic! Service was terrific! I definitely recommend Lee's Towing! more

I got a flat tire at 3am. I was alone on the side of the road and was told by AAA that the tow truck would take 45 minutes. To my surprise and delight, the two truck showed up within 15 minutes - even before the police arrived. The driver was friendly and did a great job. I highly recommend Lee's Towing. These people scare me 2/2/2010

Just this morning, I observed an employee of Lee's Towing tailgating, unsafely passing, and just plain driving agressively. As if this wouldn't be bad enough on a normal day, there's 5-6 inches of snow on the ground, and the section of road where this rude, aggressive, and wreckless driver decided to tailgate, pass unsafely, and then speed away, was covered in 2 inches of packed ice. Very happy! 12/3/2009

My car was wedged in a deep ditch in the mud in the dark in the middle of nowhere in the rain and the fog. Lee's called minutes after I contacted AAA, said they'd be there within 30 minutes and were. Brad from Lee's was nice and pleasant to work with despite the fact he had to be down in the mud in the pouring rain to try to figure out how were were going to get my car out of there. I was on my way again within an hour of having gotten stuck. I highly recommend Lee's to anyone who needs a tow! Last night could have been a nightmare and Brad helped make sure it wasn't. Thank you Lee's! more

Amazingly fast & friendly service! 9/23/2009

I'm still in shock. 7:02 pm: My tire blew out on the highway. 7:03 pm: I called AAA. 7:04 pm: Lee's called to confirm my location. 7:06 pm: Driver arrived, a nice, friendly guy. 7:08 pm: Flat tire off, spare tire on, driver waved and left. 7:09 pm: Lee's called to make sure I was satisfied. I was already driving home. That's right. From a blowout to on my way home in 7 minutes. I couldn't have changed a tire that fast! Pros: 8 minutes !!!! more
