Across from the Art Museum. Good Happy Hour and Dinner. I've come here several times and like the cheeses, esspresso rubed short ribs, steaks, and rainbow trout. They also have...

What a delight, Lecosho! Grilled octopus in Seattle? Geez. Flavorful, light, well presented. I savored every second of it. I'll be back for more. :) more

Unexpected Seafood Delight 9/1/2011

I didn't go to Lecosho expecting great seafood, but I was in the mood, so I gave it a try. I went with the Alaskan Halibut and grilled octopus. Both were simply prepared and full of flavor without being too fishy. I was also really impressed with the wine selection. I can't wait to go back and try some of the meat dishes. If they're anything like the seafood, I will be a happy person. more

Great food at Lecosho 7/19/2011

It was our second time to Lecosho for Happy Hour last night. Terrific food. The sausage was juicy and flavorful, the lentils were tender, and the egg was perfectly cooked. The clams were buttery; the sardine tartine was mouthwatering. The combination of flavors were satisfying on all levels. It's a pretty place and was packed by 6:30 on a Monday night. We WILL go back -- and soon. more

Great new restaurant from the creator of Matts in the Market 11/9/2010

Had an amazing dinner at Lecosho last night. Everything was as I would expect from the creator of Matt;s in the Market, my former favorite restaurant in Seattle. I had the pleasure of tasting a variety of appetizers including the duck confit, the house made sausage, the octopus (seriously the greatest thing I had all night long) and the bibb lettuce wedge. First of all, who would have thought to make a bibb lettuce wedge salad and WHY didn't someone think of it before now? Dinner consisted of the perfectly prepared lamb chops as well as a sampling of the pork chop from my friend. Both amazing - and I don't usually order pork chops from restaurants since they are usually dry - these were anything but. Great wine selection too. I put my selection in Matt's hands and he did not dissapoint. Not only will I eat there again - I am taking a larger group back TONIGHT! We are on per diems and we can eat like kings here as everything is reasonably priced. more
