I have been a customer at Le Pain NY and LA for years. I always thought the food was fair, the ambiance was rustic, and the service was good; in fact, the best thing about the place. However, as of late, the feel of the restaurant has changed. Especially the location in west Hollywood, which has lost a lot of charm. The staff has changed in the past few weeks and it is not the same charming, forward, and energetic staff that it was just a few months ago. Also, the baked goods are always different, not consitant at all. Even the bread is different daily. For a coffee its good, even for a quick bite, but for the prices they ask, it should be great and the service should be a little less fake and more genuine and rustic, just the way it was a few months ago. -mmiller
