I have worked for Le Chaperon Rouge for the past six years, and during this time I was the director of the Independence location. In regards to the curriculum, it is created to be used as a guide for the classroom teachers. I have always prided myself in using the curriculum strictly as a guide because it allows all of the teachers to use his/her own creativity and imagination in the classroom. From my experience, I have found that this allows all of the activities to be open-ended enough for all children in the classroom to benefit and successfully complete. Additionally, from my experience I have found that the hardworking, deserving employees did in fact receive raises. Specifically in my position at this center, those teachers that I found were deserving of a raise would receive one upon me bringing it to the owner?s attention. Furthermore, the owner would also observe the teacher?s hard work and immediately grant them a raise. With my experience with the owner, she has always treated me well and has always offered her help, if it?s ever been needed. I have also witnessed her giving nature. She often ?gives back? to her families. More specifically, she has offered her support by giving free services to families, and has helped her employees when they have been in need. She has a big heart, understanding nature, and I have always known her to be a very giving person.
