I am usually one for mowing my own lawn, but my mower broke and I had to call Harrisons. They did an excellant job and in half the time I would have taken. The rates were reasonable as well. more

We have an annual maintenance agreement with this company. They are here weekly, weather permitting. In the winter they come to check yard and make sure everything looks good. We are very pleased with their service. more

I have been a long time customer (10+ years) of Lawn Doctor and have paid all of my bills with them in a timely manner. Had problems with them this year with renting my home, moving out of town and having no notice from them that the lawn I had once again paid to have seeded by them last fall is belly up. When I offered to pay half of the seeding this year to get this back on track, they basically told me they do not guarantee or insure their lawn or products. What type of business tells a long term customer, who is willing to absorb 1/2 the costs of their mistakes, to basically take a hike in this economy? Take a hike...I have. more

My neighbors are actually the ones who used their service. I would NEVER pay such an unprofessional company to work for me. They put the wrong product down on my neighbors' yard and ended up having to reseed their yard. Well, since our yards and touching (it's a 2-5 foot section in some places directly next to our driveway) when they put down the product, it also killed our grass. The company was contacted and sent a ""manager"" out. It's hard to believe he's a manager because he was so unprofessional, no call before, no apology for just showing up, extremely rude. When he came out he said because of the type of grass I have it's just not growing again. If you look at it, you KNOW that's not it. Not to mention, every other area of grass I have is GREEN. This company is extremely unprofessional in my opinion. I've contacted them twice and not gotten a solution to my problem. Waiting on a call back from the office manager. If I don't get a solution, I will be contacting the actual company since this location is just a franchise. I'll also be contacting BBB. After 2 years of regular treatments and spending hundreds of dollars, my lawn looks no better. There are many broadleaf weeds as well as spots of cragrass. Also, the lawn color is not nearly as rich and green as many of my neighbor's yards (that do their own fertilizer). I will do it myself from now on - and save the $$ Pros: Saves time by having the yard treated ""professionally"" Cons: Poor results - no better than self application of yard treatments more
