I have not had to hire very many lawyers but this one I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Mr. Szilagyi made claims to the person that recommended him to me that the particular case i hired him for "was right up his alley". Well I am not sure what alley Mr. Szilagyi woke up in every morning but it was definitely was a very dark alley in a brand new world because he was clueless of the case in hand. Mr Szilagyi was very confident and also stated that he would be able to complete the case for about $3,000.00 total. The final bill was way over $15,000.00. I had to pay for the court sanctions against him plus many other things that he did not make me aware of the majority of the happenings in the case. The only aggressive offense that was performed by Mr. Szilagyi were the interrogatories that i had constructed for the defendant myself that he copied and pasted word for word and used. Terrible and Horrible Results. I can't believe the reviews here are real... this law office was one of the worst experiences I've had. I used Anthony Szilagyi to handle a very simple lawsuit. Anthony met with me and acted like he knew what he was doing. He asked a lot of questions about my business and seemed interested, but I soon learned it was to see how much money I could afford. I paid the retainer fee and then got a bill soon afterwards and didn't even make it to court. I then kept getting more bills but had no progress in the case. I would get bills that stated 2 hours to write a response and then an hour and a half to review a response. His overbilling was ridiculous. His accounting was inaccurate and when questioned he simply threaten to withdraw and sue me over it. I settle the lawsuit and then got a final bill with even more dishonest billing. I felt the bill was not only inaccurate but simply false. Choose someone who is honest and has some experience. Good Luck! more

I too had a terrible experience. I had a simple lawsuit that cost me thousands of dollars and I didn't even make it to court. I was overbilled and had a hard time of getting my calls returned. Its hard enough being in a lawsuit, but paying tens of thousands of dollars to defend it and then being told by the other side that they were never contacted by my attorney and there calls went unanswered. The billing was ridiculous, just simply false. I was billed several hours to review one page documents and several hours to write a simple email and letter. more

Absolutely Horrible Experience! This attorney has scammed me out of thousands and thousands of dollars. He represented me in a matter that cost me so much more than if I represented myself. He doesn't call back, he lied to me several times and makes excuses. Avoid at all costs. more

one of the worst experience we have had with a lawyer. they are the most unprofessional team you will probably find. We paid them before they completed the entire task and it seemed they just took the money. No replies to emails after that and leaving a message was a waste as we never got a call back. Spoke to shannon, cricket and tony himself and they all promised that we will get a call back and receive the paperwork that we were promised, but nothing. He always had an excuse of not getting the work done, and the work is still not done and they have our money. PLEASE DO NOT WORK WITH THIS LAWYER. more

He answered my questions in a way I could understand, returned my phone calls promptly and gave me good cousel which kept me and my business out of trouble.
