Don’t waste your time he is not professional,you could win your case better by representing yourself and he should not be given the title of Attorney because he lacks a lot of knowledge but he will make an appearance as if he knows what he’s doing when he really doesn’t and if your observant you will recognize your not in good hands.Even though I won my case much later representing myself without an attorney because what’s meant will be the case had to be revisited I can’t give Mr Moody any credit I had more confidence in myself than he had with the title of attorney and even back in 2013- 14 he didn’t have a office of his own as well would purposely delay important dates playing mind games at deadlines. Mr. Moody was intimidated by magistrates and was concerned about losing his ability to practice law and left me speaking up on my own behalf and that’s when I came to the reality he was worthless.Now in 2018 he’s been exposed for not having what it takes to represent and I’m sorry to say but he’s not ready for a position or title to represent anyone in the court of law I did better for myself in the end! more

Please, spare yourself the grief and don't hire this fool. Spend your money with a reputable lawyer. If you have to spend a little extra money on an attorney do so, because in the long run, STEVEN J. MOODY will have you going to jail. He is a slouch and a drunk. He is never prepared for his cases and never responds to phone calls. FYI: He is not, I repeat he is not a defense attorney!!!!! more

1. Moody will almost never answer his phone when called. He will often times have a full voicemail which shows how many other people he is not answering the phone with. 2. Moody was paid in advance for a case and continued to take his time and also did not alert the individual he was representing of court dates and hearing. Often times he did not appear in court and would then apologize for missing but not providing whereabouts or stating prior to court date that he wouldn't be able to attend. This would impinge consequences on his client. 3. Upon meetings with Moody in person and speaking to him over the phone he seems to have an issue with alcohol. He smelled of alcohol and when speaking had slurred speech and eye were bloodshot red. A couple times when speaking to him over the phone it has been slurred speech as well. 4. His assistant Richard is very nice and as helpful as he can be but apparently Moody and Richard are not working at the same pace or have a clear-cut understanding of cases cohesively. The pricing is fair but definitely not decent for the lack of work he puts in and the more headache brought unto his client and his clients family. I would not refer him to anyone for services unless you had a very minor offense that is suitable for a public defender. Think TWICE. Think HARD. Before choosing Steve Moody to represent you. more

If zero stars were an option that is what he would receive with a promotion. This lazy attorney does not return phone calls, loves to be in the spotlight and takes advantage of the under represented. more
