I had a wonderful, relaxing time there.When I came back for my facial The front desk remembered me as well as the girl doing the facial. IRINA is very professional and also made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. The facial was amazing and I think I even fell asleep. My skin is still soft and glowing. I love this spa. The woman who I went to see really knows what she is doing. Erma gave me the best facial I have ever had. My skin looked amazing afterwards and everyone noticed. She was very professional and knowledgeable. I'm not sure what products she used on me but I will be back to find out because it is not like anything I have ever used before. I love the wax that it used at Lavinia's. It is as painless as possible. Erma does the most amazing brazilian bikini waxes. I have also been to Erma on numerous occasions for facials and she is fantastic. My skin always glows and feels great. She is gentle, friendly and highly experienced not to menion professional. I have also visited some of the other ladies and I love them all. This is my go to spa! more

I read a review about Zhanna's manicures and pedicures last week. So I decided to come in and try it out because I was a little skeptical after trying to get a great manicure for years. Since I first started going to see Erma at Lavinia about 2 yrs ago I have sent at least 10 people to her. She does the quickest, most painless, and most thorough Brazilian wax anywhere (not to mention the friendly and helpful service by everyone in the salon). Everyone I have sent has had the most positive experience and prefer this salon to those on Newbury St. They are fantastic about last-minute appointments - I just can't say enough wonderful things! i purchased a facial for my girlfriend and really wanted to get her something nice and book her with Irina/iriena (brown hair)not sure how to correctly spell her name . Emerge was everything it promised, The facial was for an hour and a half and she had a wonderful experience. I must admit, she looked fantastic afterwards. I am addicted to facials at Lavinia Borcau Skincare. I used to go to a dermatologist for my problematic skin. One facial at Lavinia Borcau had me hooked, and I've traded in my monthly dermatologist visit for a monthly facial at Lavinia's. My skin has never looked better!!! I usually go for the deep pore cleansing facial, but every now and then, when I want a special treat, I go for the organic peel or facial. There's only one word to describe these organic treatments... AMAZING! After a relaxing 2-hour session, I leave the treatment room and am always amazed by the face I see back in the mirror. Fresh, clean, glowing skin - I don't know what yummy-smelling concoctions are applied to my face during my facial, but the result is truly a miracle. Lavinia Borcau has become my go-to spa for anything from facials to anti-cellulite treatments to bikini and eye brow waxing. I've always been pleased by Lavinia's sweet, accomodating staff, the assortment of interesting Eastern Euorpean treatments, and the nothing-short-of-amazing results. I recommend this spa to everyone I know. This is a great spot for facials- Irina is the best! When I leave my skin feels brand new and my worry lines have disappeared, even if only momentarily... I tried the organic peel once (after much insistence that it would work wonders) and it was a nightmare- very painful- which they didn't warn me about. I won't be going back for another of those!
