This place is not for those into fancy, trendy decor -- pretty basic tables/booths/chairs and a standard mexican-themed ambiance (murals, etc). The margaritas are really, really good and so is the food. I like the Chicken Tostada and also the bean and cheese burrito is great. It's pretty kid-friendly like most of Agoura (my husband and I like to go but we've also brought our child when she was 1 and 1.5). The service is consistently pretty good. The refried beans are always how I judge a Mexican restaurant, and these are GREAT-- not too greasy, but not healthy-new-wave either-- just really perfect and tasty!!! The chips and salsa are also fantastic. Highly recommend for good down-home Mexican food in Agoura!
Pros: food, drinks
Cons: usually there is some wait on fri or sat nights, but they get you in pretty quick.
