i went in a month ago for a consultation and the clinic director seemed VERY pushy ( not sure if they get commision) i never even went for a treatment because i was sold a package and told i was a candidate by this company, and when my dermatologist found out i was going for lazer hair removal told me it would damage my skin. (i am african american) \r i am still trying to get a refund even with dr.s documentation. \r it seems like once they get your money they dont care about you. if you use this company please be weary of the clinic director in the white plains office, and seek advice from a real Dr first. more

Husband’s back hair gone 11/30/2010

I was just tired of my husband’s back hair situation that I just felt compelled to bring him here to have it fixed - for good. He found it better than when I asked him to have it waxed. He basically likes this place better. Proof of that is he’s the one reminding me when his next treatment is. So now when I’m having my areas done, he’s having his back done. But of course, the poker buddies will just have to never know about it. more

I would get an F in shaving 11/30/2010

I’m not a good shaver, if I’d ever get a grade for it I would get an F almost every time I do it. I get cuts on my and I would always blame my shaving cream. I think I have around ten shaving creams and I wasn’t really satisfied with any of them. I came to the conclusion that I just had to lay off shaving for a while. But it’s just not feasible not to shave, I can’t look like a cave woman. I tried their laser hair removal and I’m finally content about my skin. Turns out my skin is really sensitive and this treatment is really kind to my skin. Now I don’t have to shave and cut myself doing so. more

i agree with the last guy. i went over 5 months ago and the clinic director was as nice as could be to sell me the packages, but from that point on she made me coming to get my treatments done a living hell. if i would get this done i wouldnt use the white plains office just to avoid her. mabye the office in the city is better. good luck. more

CLINIC DIRECTORS NUTS!! 11/28/2010

i read alot of bad reviews about the clinic director teresa but was offered such a good package i figured id give it a shot. what do you know when i go in for treatment after first ,,,,she was there...ranting...raving....running in and out stressing out the girl that was doing my hair removal. she actually got in a verbal argument with one of the girls in the small office next to the treatment room and i could hear it from my office. i couldnt wait to leave. i felt uncomfortable being there and i felt her behavior could have effected my treatment in a negative way. besides the the walls in the treatment room had stains all over it like someone walked on it and it wasnt clean for a medical office. more

Best birthday present yet. 11/26/2010

Last year my mom surprised me with a hair removal package with laser cosmetica. This may seem like a strange birthday gift, but I've been having issues with the hair on my arms ever since I can remember. Once my mom did all the research and found out it was a safe procedure performed by professionals, she knew it was something I would not only appreciate, but would LOVE. And she was right . . . I feel like a girl now with smooth skin and am very thankful for my family at home and my now family at laser cosmetica. more

Mini-skirt and unshaved legs, do the math 11/24/2010

I was in class when I realized I left my house in a skirt without shaving. It was a tough day, and I was embarrassed. When I arrived home, I cried to my sister about it. Seconds later, she grabs her coat, takes my hand, and presto, we’re in a cab heading to this skin care clinic.. We set things up. After just two sessions, I saw that the results were remarkable. And so did every one else — in my class, bonus! I guess you could say that life since then has been sweeter. I thank my sis everyday. She’s always got the answer for everything. more

ive had cellulite for a long time, never really thought about getting anything done, (untill my mother of all people)..told me to look up clinics and find out about celluliite.. i didnt have much money, i still called anyway. so they was telling how the procedures work, and how my results will look. tempting, but no money, so i told them i didnt have that kind of money,,,so they told me is ok we have financial plans where i can afford ...and since then im so happy i called ...... more

Hairy skin is definitely not an in thing with my group. My friend Tanya started the trend by getting her laser hair removal from this clinic. When we first saw her after the procedure she was convinced that her skin was become lighter. Now, after several sessions, her skin feels smooth, but even better, she’s never waxing or shaving anymore which is probably the biiggest plus about the whole thing Smoother skin has now become the in thing for us, and I’m enjoying this particular trend. more

Amazing Service 7/15/2010

I have been going to Laser Cosmetica, for almost a year now. I initially, met with the manager Teresa whom is so knowledgable, answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. I have been having laser hair removal on my bikini and underarm, which I can say I am almost hair free! The technicians, take their time, and really care about the clients. My favorite is Carlen, who really cares about the service shes providing. I have sent, 4 friends and they are happy as am I! Thank you Laser Cosmetica for making me hair free Pros: very accomidating, knowledgable staff Cons: waiting to get appointments more

y reading the reviews online, i was very skeptical about going there but i took my chances and went ahead to get my treatments done here. teresa was very nice- no complaints about her, she answered all my questions-and i had a lot of them- without any objections. i even questioned the technicians... they answered well too. even thought techs get only 2 weeks of intense training, i'm not sure how well they learn and how well its taught. but overall after my first treatment of underarms- i saw 70% reduction in hair and the dark area was almost gone, i was very satisfied.\r after 1st treatment of upper thighs- the hair growth was reduced at least 50% and i'm pretty hairy- thick and dark.\r bikini- at least 30-40% reduction in hair growth\r besides the hair reduction- the haiir were coming out thinner and smoother, they weren't prickly and it didnt itch or hurt....it was great\r all this after first treatment. lets c what other treatments have in store for me.!!! Pros: good customer service, satisfied results Cons: training given to techs but its the experience that counts more

FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5/5/2010

Although in their sales pitch, they promised that my hair would be gone in 6 treatments, I have now completed 3 arduous years of visits to Laser Cosmetica. And guess what? You got it,- the hair isn't all gone. The laser they have in White Plains is old and ineffectual.\r \r I outlasted at least 6 clinic directors and 10 technicians. I endured exceedingly long waits, last minute reschedulings and times when I was on time only to have the staff show up 20 minutes later.\r Save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere! This is the best company! I feel so comfortable with the staff, and they have great hours. Everyone knows what they are doing, and I am getting fantastic results. The laser is really effective and doesnt hurt at all. Its awesome being hair free. I totally recommend this place to anyone thinking about doing anything. The consultation was really informative. You should definetly go and just do it. Its the best investment I have ever made! Pros: hours, friendly staff, parking, results more
