Racecar Driving 5/6/2008

This is one of my favorite things to do in Vegas. The whole family and I go down to the Mini Grand Prix for family fun. They have a mini arcade, great finger food and of course racecar driving, all at a low price. more

Good Birthday Place... 4/13/2008

Having a birthday party at Mini Grand Prix makes the kids feel special. There is a lot to do so everyone is busy. You can bring your own cake, the pizza is okay. The weekends are way too crowded so there is a lot of standing in line for rides. We went on a weekday one time and had free rain on all the rides. Buying a wrist band is the best deal, and they also have alot of coupons and specials. more

Super fun rides, games, and activities. Reasonably priced food. Great place to have a birthday party. Roller coasters and slides for tots, race cars for kids and adults alike. photo booth, Dance, dance revolution, and ski ball. Nothing could be finer. PROS: Fun for kids of all ages. Great for all ages! 9/26/2005

Take the whole family because there's something for everyone. They have amusment rides and go-karts for all ages. From the little kiddie karts for the younger ones all the way up to a super fast timed track that you have to have a driver's liscence to drive on this place will keep you entertained. You won't get going as fast as you will at a place like Fast Lap but parents and children will both enjoy coming here especially on a weeknight when there's not as many people as there is on the weekends. more

Good place to spend an evening 9/10/2005

The Mini Gran Prix is best visited at night, after the sun has set. There is a coaster for younger kids. For the middle to teenage kids there is a go-kart like area. And for people with their drivers license there is a no-barriers race track for you to race your friends through lots of turns. There is also a small, round track for teenagers and adults to race on that will clock your time. more

This is such a great place for families, field trips and birthday parties. They have really fun slides and race car driving. They have a mini roller coaster that is perfect for kids. They also have a resturant there and it is good. more

good place to take the kids and blow some steam off. the pizza is not gourmet but not half bad either. a great place for a birthday party. just not on the weekend (you would lose your sanity from the noise) more

Fun family entertainment 8/9/2005

This is just what the name says - a mini grand prix racetrack where kids old enough get to drive the race cars. Those too small can drive with an adult. The arcade here is huge, and there are rides outside. I especially love the whirlybird-type one :) This is the best pizza, in my opinion, in this amusement category. We've been to lots of birthday pizza parties here, and the service is good, if a little too "Chuckie Cheese" for me. The party area is one big room, so there is no private space, and it's really noisy. Kids love it though! more

I love going out here and just racing around. The people are really nice and you have a great time. As far as entertainment goes, they are not expensive so come out and lets race. more

This is a great place for kids to have hang out and have fun. We don't go as often in the summertime because it is just too hot outside to ride the rides there, but when it cools off, this place is a ton of fun! My child loves the big slide and always has fun riding in the go-karts! more

We went to the Mini Gran Prix for the first time for a birthday party and since then my duaghter has been bagging to go back. The kids had a wonderful time. The pizza was good and the games and rides were a blast. PROS: lots to do for the family CONS: a little pricey more

"It's the birthday place!!" 7/27/2005

My kids had their 4th birthday party there. The staff did everything they could to make us feel special. The pizza was okay, the wings were good and the beverages kept coming. They gave us great customer service and lots of tokens! My kids never forgot that experience...everytime we drive by they holler, "It's the birthday place!" That place is a wonderful place to let the kids run loose and they even have a s few stuff for adults (i.e., the racing carts!) more

Tons of Fun 7/20/2005

The Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix is a load of fun here. They have go karts, arcades, a super slide, and rides. The go karts are different depending on age and weather you have a drivers lisence for the bigger ones. Only downfall to this place is cost. Its like $5.50 PER ride. You don't just pay a set fee for all day admission or anything. more

Fun place to knock off a few hours. 7/13/2005

Mostly I see teens and adults zooming around on these cars. They do have little cars for kids, but as you're driving up the hi-way, it's the larger go-carts that will catch your eye. There isn't any shade on the track, so if you're thinking of zipping around on the track in July, get ready to cook under the 100 plus sun. The good thing is they have late hours. I think the track is good, but I've driven longer and more detailed. My favorite track is in Vernon, NJ and that's because they really try to simulate an Indy track. The other rides are fun, but the main draw are the cars. For Las Vegas entertainment I thought the ticket prices are family friendly and as far as food goes, I think you're better off driving up Rainbow and grabbing a bite from one of the nearby restaurants. PROS: Easy to get to and a couple of hours of fun CONS: No more than a few hours here, it's no Disneyland more

This place is really fun to go to for kids birthdays, or just those goofy days when you want to run around like a kid again. I had fun in the arcade, but that only lasted a few minutes. The rides are exciting, especially the "big kids" race track, But overall it's a place for younger kids - pre-teens. I would recommend it for birthdays, but be ready to spend at least $500 for a decent party. MY friend did. .... PROS: easy to find CONS: Pricey more

Older isnt necessarily bad 6/9/2005

Though the atmosphere of this fun-center reminds you of something that was built 10 years ago and forgotten about shortly thereafter, it is still an enjoyable place to take a date or your family. The crowd can be saturated with bored teenages, and the arcade can sometimes rip you off, but stick to the cars and you cant go wrong. more
