I highly recommend Larry. He was prompt and on time. He quickly analyzed the issue with my furnace. No upselling or bamboozling whatsoever. He tried fixing it without replacing any parts, and only when it turned out that that wasn't everything that was wrong did he identify the one part that needed replacing. He's a good, honest guy, the kind who's becoming harder and harder to find on the web. more

After my tenant called PSE, who said the Furnace was shot, Larry came by calm and relax and said, ""Lets take a look."" After testing a few things - he concluded it just needed a good maintenance cleaning and changed the filters that were filthy and cleaned the pilot light. (also very dirty) Thankfully - Started up like a champ. Can't say enough good things about him. Fair price, honest and not intimidating. Like calling a friend's dad in. Very trustworthy. Oh and he apparently will give free advice on the phone to help eliminate an unnecessary call. This is old school customer service......Bravo Larry. more

My 1920's oil furnace was converted to gas in the 1960's. Larry has come up with obscure parts and repairs quickly for 20+ years and counting. He is a fantastic resource for Seattle. more

Came out same day. Was honest. Didn't charge for anything extra. He could have made stuff up, but was very honest. I'd recommend him to anybody. Because he owns his own business, he obviously cares about his customers and the leaves his signuature on every job he does. Great job Larry! Pros: Very fast. Super nice guy. Fixed problem easily. So I read the review above and have to disagree with james. I called up Larry's, talked to the technician, set a date, he came and repaired the furnace. Easy as that. The repair technician was both amiable and professional. I encourage other people to just judge this service for themselves. Pros: Easy and efficient service more

Okay, mid November my Trane gas heater system failed on me and my family. We live in a 3 story house, and you can imagine how cold it can get inside when the outside temperature was 34 degress. We were without heat for almost 4 days until I finally got a hold of a company that had time to talk about this problem on the phone. I called Larry's and some man picked up, I explained to him my problems with my heater system he tells me that it was probably not fixable, he explained everything to me in a complicated way, he expected me to understand all this technical talk about DIY heater problems. I am sorry but Im not a natural gas repairman, I'm a consultant for an international trading corp, so excuse me for my lack of knowlegde on gas heaters. He told me to go open my heater and check a certain area if it had flames running in a rude tone like he didnt want to help. When I couldnt figure how to check for a flame, he simply said ""oh well, not fixable"" so I asked if he could come down to my house and check it. He says for my problem its ""not worth his time"", it was ""not fixable"", I afford him money to check and he declined. I tell him thanks for the help and he hangs up without any words. What kind of service it that? and their suppose to be running a business...not a good way to attract future customers, I'll tell everybody I know to never bother with Larry's, and I do know A LOT of clients, friends, and family who live in Bothel, WA. So the next two days I gave my father a call on my problem and he sent a mechanic over and the problem was solved in 15 minutes. The mechanic told me that a metal guard was covering something and that the person who did the install forgot to uncover an opening. I told him about my incident with Larry's and the mechanic was shocked on how rude this guy was. So my heater problem is fixed now. I DO NOT RECOMMEND LARRY'S GAS REPAIR TO ANYBODY, PLEASE AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. Find another repair service! Pros: Picked up my call. Cons: Bad service, rude, unwilling to help. more
