Exceptional Flowers 4/11/2011

I was going to place my order online, but I had a few questions. I called the florist direct, and the girl answering the phone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to answer all of the questions that I had. When my wife's anniversary flowers arrived, they were beyond my expectations, and absolutely perfect. My wife absolutely loved the flowers. I requested a morning delivery, and they were very accommodating in meeting my request, and the flowers arrived on time. Thank you Lipinoga Florist! more

Horrible Experience 3/29/2011

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a florist. I Went with this place because of all the positive ratings and it was the only place whose website showed Sunday delivery. Website clearly states ""Days for which delivery is unavailable do not appear."" The flowers never showed up on Sunday and the intended recipient had left town by the time the arrangement arrived on Monday. I called the shop and spoke with the owner to find out what had happened, and how she would rectify the situation. I have to say that this was one of rudest and most ill-mannered people I have ever spoken to. She was unbelievably condescending and patronizing, and blamed me for not reading a separate part of her website that says ""We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays."" When I told her that her website says ""Days for which delivery is unavailable do not appear,"" she told me I should have read the rest of the website. I told her that she should at least refund me half of my money, and she got an even nastier tone. She ended the conversation by saying ""I'm going to go back and pick up the flowers, and refund your money,"" as she proceeded to hang up on me. 10 minutes later, I get a call from the daughter of the intended recipient, saying that someone is there to pick up the flowers. I asked her to put the man on the phone who showed up at her house and I heard him say ""I don't want to talk to him. He doesn't want to pay so I am picking up the flowers."" This put me in a very uncomfortable position, and it was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever heard of. If I could give less than one star, I would. For everyone intending on using this florist, just remember that if something goes wrong, don't expect them to be accommodating. more

EXTREMEMLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OWNER!! 8/29/2010

Went in to have a bouquet done for my wedding vow renewal. The colors are gold champagne and navy. They did not have a champagne rose in the store to show me but the employee reassured me 3 TIMES that it was close to my gold champagne sample that I left with her. Went to pick up the flowers and the roses were PINK champagne, not gold champagne. The OWNER was very nasty yelling at me that this is what I odered. I tried to explain that this is NOT what I was told the color would be and that they employee assured me it would be close to my sample and that the one she showed me in the book looked more like my sample. She walked over to the books on the table and pointed to a rose and very rudley said ""This is a champagne rose!"". I told her this was NOT the book I was shown and to get the other book for me so I could show her was I was shown and told. She stated ""I don't have time fore this. I Have invested enough time in this and this is the SMALLEST wedding I have ever done!"". Just because it is a smaller wedding does not make me any less important as a customer than a larger wedding! I am still a customer! I said to her that she had my sample and she stated that my sample is not champagne, and that it is tan- even thought the sample said right on it CHAMPAGNE! If I was told by HER employee from the start that a champagne rose is PINK champagne, than I would have ordered something else. HER employee is the one that gave me false information yet she blamed me and barely let me get 2 words in to explain to her that her employee never showed me an actually champagne rose and that she told me it was close to my sample. She did switch the rose but was completely rude and unapologetic about the situation. I am a designer in furniture sales and I KNOW my colors. I also know that good customer service is key to a successful business. The bouquet was pretty in the end, but NOT worth the way I was treated. The owner was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONSAL and I would never advise this place to anyone. If my little wedding vow renewal was so beneath her, than she should have told me in the beginning and I would have taken my business elsewhere. more

Fair Price, Great Service, Creative Arrangements 4/16/2008

This is the best florist in the Amherst area. The staff is always very helpful and helps me make up beautiful combinations of seasonal flowers. I get something different and elegant every time for a very fair price. They are also very timely, it is not a problem to call in the morning and get a custom arrangement that same day. I?ve also found that the Lipinoga family is very creative and it is a good idea just to let one of the ladies do what they do and the I always get something surprising!\r \r Pros: Friendly, Punctual, Long-lasting, great selection more
