If you want BEAUTIFUL,BEACHY BLONDE highlights come to Landis Salon and make your appointment with Chase. After living here for 2 years I have searched salons from Park City to Murray to Sugar House ,etc. and have never once found a stylist that could do anything but mediocre highlights. I had even started to go back to California just to get my hair done... until I went to Chase!!! I am not exaggerating when I say he can compete with any colorist in Beverly Hills or New York where I have been getting my hair done. He listens,he humbly makes suggestions,and then he works his magic. more

Thanks Chase for the WONDERFUL haircut 12/23/2011

This is my 4th time having Chase cut my hair and WOW, what an amazing job he does with my crazy, curly hair. He is the first hair dresser I've had that actually listens to how I want my hair to look. He is a great listener and is very talented. I have left the last 4 times with a SMILE on my face and LOVING my hairstyle. I am usually the one that leaves the salon in tears and unsatisfied with my haircut. I just want to say THANKS Chase for listening to what I want (you have tons of patience, I love that about you) and delivering well beyond what I expect. You are truly an AMAZING hairdresser and person. THANKS a TON!!! more

I love this salon....simply AMAZING!! 9/8/2011

My stylist is Caroline, who I absolutely ADORE! She is amazing and really knows how to listen to what I want. Due to this, I have learned to trust her and now give her creative freedom to do what she thinks will look best! Having had some nightmare haircuts in the past, I can't tell you how nice it is to COMPLETELY trust my hairstylist!! As for the salon, the front desk staff are always so warm and friendly. They always have smiles on their faces, and that is so REFRESHING!!! I always leave the salon feeling so pampered and looking forward to my next appointment! I would recommend this salon (and already have), Caroline specifically, to anyone!!! Love love love this place!!!! :-) more

Chelsey V. is a TRUE artist! 8/19/2011

Chelsey V has got to be one of the best hair artists in Salt Lake City! I swear, this woman is incredible. She listens to what I want, takes her time, and is a master at coloring. I can always trust that my hair will look great when I leave. You must try here at least once, you will be hooked! more

I go to Chelsey Vaiana at the 300 West location. This salon is awesome and Chelsey fits right in with this classy salon. She takes the time to make sure that I am happy with my hair cut and color. She is very fun and personable and makes me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this salon and Chelsey Vaiana to anyone who is looking for a great stylist. more

Chelsey Vaiana was my hairstylist before i moved to california. i have tried and tried to find someone, ANYONE that can make my hair as fab she always did and no one even comes close! she has such amazing skills as a hair stylist. she is a very friendly and outgoing person that to me, makes the salon experience all around PERFECT! Landis very lucky to have such a talented person working in their salon! more

Best haircut, best service, and best product in SLC! 6/22/2011

I've been a client of Landis' for several years now and I have to say that I never really had a bad experience with them before. In fact, I have nothing but great things to say about each of their locations and many of their stylists. However, for the past year or so I have been seeing Chelsey Vaiana at the Marmalade location (incredible new salon and location) and it has done nothing but improve the overall experience I've had with this already great chain of salons. Chelsey is personable, approachable, and makes everyone who sits in her chair feel comfortable and important. Her incredible service can only be matched by the skill of her craft. She is attentive to what her clients want and is always capable of meeting even the most challenging of demands. Since seeing Chelsey, I have recommended her to everyone I know and can say that almost all of those people have seen Chelsey and are now frequent clients! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Chelsey Vaiana at the Landis Marmalade location, now! more

Amazing Haircut and Experience 6/11/2011

I received the most amazing haircut from Chase Hargis. He did such a great job making sure my hair would look as great as possible. He showed me exactly how to comb it once I got home. He was very attentive. The salon was also amazing. It was clean, friendly staff, very comfortable. The whole experience was great. I will be back to see Chase for sure! more

Shay at Landis in Marmalade. 6/7/2011

I have never been happier with my hair! Shay is seriously THE most amazing person I have ever met. I walked in asking to bleach my hair out completely and she talked me out of hair suicide. She made me look 10x's better than I thought I ever would. Shay knows what shes doing and she keeps growing and moving forward. She is always taking classes and looking for ways to improve her already impecable work! I cannot say enough good things about this girl! She knew which products would work best with my hair type and she has helped me tremendously with my up keep. I look forward to seeing her again! more

I was delighted when the Landis Marmalade opened in my neighborhood, but I was THRILLED when I met Shay there! She is an incredible artist in every sense of the word. She understood (better than I ever have) what the best cut, color, and products are for my hair. She pays attention to the slightest, yet very important, details that make all the difference in a salon experience. Her commitment to make everything work for you is truly hard to find. She's the most talented and dedicated stylist I've met in SLC - go see her at Landis in Marmalade!!! more

She has talent, she is profesional and is very passionate about her art. She recommended a great product that works really well with my style. My hair looks/ feels amazing. Chase Hargis of Ladis Lifestyle salon in the marmalade location is the absolute best! His ability to cater to what you want with an exacting eye is unparalleled! He is easy to work with, fantastic company, skilled, and an expert in the art of relaxing his clients. A true gem in the salon world. Don't waste your time looking for anybody else. Chase is the best! more

Best Haircut I Could Imagine 5/14/2011

I have had my hair cut twice, both by the incredible Chase Hargis. He does a better job with my hair than anybody, ever. No one else even comes close. He also has a very sharp eye for style, and you should feel perfectly comfortable saying ""cut it however you think you should."" He'll get it exactly right, every time. The establishment itself is very well-maintained and nice. As others have said, you feel pampered the whole time. In addition to a fabulous haircut, you get a wonderful experience. Cannot recommend the salon or Chase Hargis enough. more

I was so impressed by this salon! The salon was clean, fresh, bright, and open. The staff was professional and friendly. My stylist, Chase Hargis, gave me the best haircut and color I have ever had. Hello! I had the most incredible color last week. I cannot how pampered I was at Landis. From the minute I walked in the door to the time I left the service was top-notch. Shay was wonderful--not only did she do a super job on my hair, but she massaged my hands, neck and put lipstick on me. I made another appt. with Shay and I suggest you go see her too! Ari more

Changed My Definition for ""Haircut!"" 1/27/2011

I used to think getting a haircut meant letting a middle-aged dude run clippers over your head. My outlook has changed for the much, much better. I met Shay at a local event where Landis was doing cheap haircuts. I never expected such a unique experience with such attention to detail! I had to come back for the whole experience at the Marmalade salon, and it's worth every penny. Shay might, in fact, be psychic. Twice now I've walked out of her chair with my hair looking not only how I pictured it, but better. She has a great sense of what the customer wants and how to make it work for them. I will never walk into another hair salon as long as I can help it. These guys are professional, talented, and most importantly, they're friendly people. I feel very comfortable there, and I'm well taken care of. If I come up with any complaints about this place, I'll be sure to let you know! Don't hold your breath, though. more

Love love LOVE this salon!! 1/25/2011

Just got a color last week. What can I say? Lovely front desk and AMAZING stylists. Frankie is by far one of the greatest in Salt Lake. I grew up on the east coast and I can honestly say that she measures up to the sylists back home.. Before seeing her, I would frequent the 1300 south location, and while they have a good vibe going... I cannot stand that stubby, angry front desk manager of theirs. (I believe her name is Kathy) That would be my only complaint. Rarely have I met someone I instantly didn't feel comfortable around. I came to the new location in hopes of a friendlier staff and I'm so glad I did- I found Frankie more
