Wonderful! More than just a hair cut... 1/13/2011

Wonderful hardly does it justice. From the moment you step in the door, you know it's gonna' be good. The staff, the service - everything from top to bottom. Seriously, it was more than ""just getting a hair cut."" I loved the entire experience and Shay was especially great. I actually look forward to getting my hair cut now! You might have to drop a couple more bucks, but it's definitely worth it. Highly recommend... more

Most amazing experience ever, and I am a guy!! 1/12/2011

I have never felt so well taken care of and loved when getting my long hair trimmed. From the essential oils, shoulder and scalp massage to the best hair cut ever, Shay Jones is truly the most talented and loving stylist I have ever experienced. The salon was beautiful and made me feel as though I could stay all day. Feeling like you have all the attention surely helps this... I want everyone I know to go and enjoy this amazing cut and care from Shay. more

Amazing Stylist! 1/12/2011

I have been going to Landis Marmelade since it opened. My stylist Franki always takes such good care of me that I had to give her a review. Last week I went in to get my hair colored, and not only did it turn out better than I had expected, but the head massage during my rinse felt so good I practically fell asleep. I recommend Franki to anyone who wants to feel good inside and out. Way to go Franke, I will go to you, FOREVER! more

Ultimate Haircut experience! 1/6/2011

Getting my hair cut by the Lovely, Personable, Talented Shay Jones, was so so so much more than just a ""hair cut"". Just walking into the beautiful salon was an experience all itself, an experience that just kept getting better! Shay had such insight & understanding to what I was hoping for & thinking of with my haircut as we consulted before she began, she really listened & cared about pleasing me & giving me the best haircut to compliment my features. She then lavished me with an aromatherapy, essential oil rich, top-notch scalp & shoulder massage. After the glorious shampooing & conditioning with the great Aveda products, It was really fun how she would explain what she was doing as she was working on my cut, which so clearly illustrated to me her expertise & abilities, this girl has serious know how! She did such a precise & perfect cut, i honestly came out of there saying to myself & out loud several times ""that was the best haircut experience i have ever had, EVER!"" Thank you Shay, I will be back for sure :) more

Wow!! Shay Jones has mad skills! 1/6/2011

Oh, man! I received the best hair cut and service the other day from Shay at Landis in Marmalade. I went in for just a men's hair cut and came out feeling fully pampered and my cut was top notch~ It was quite relaxing, my favorite was the shoulder/scalp massage with essential oils, I even received a rejuvenating mini facial with a hot towel. Shay's ability to pay attention to detail, make good genuine conversation and take into consideration her guests needs... Five Star! Most definitely! more

Killer Cut, Irresistible Makeup Match by Shay Jones! 1/6/2011

Between the complimentary licorice root/peppermint tea and the genuine good cut by my stylist, Shay Jones, I couldn't get enough of Landis LIfestyle! I suppose my first visit felt less like a salon and more like a trendy spa in Salt Lake's downtown. I got a great cut and was even color-matched after. Now my new favorite makeup accessory is the Aveda Spiced Plum lip glaze! (Shay, you seriously worked wonders and helped me see that I actually CAN go dark!) Thanks for a splendid evening! I'll be paying 569 N 300 W many more visits this year. Cheers! more

I got the best haircuts ever 10/23/2010

Yesterday I visited ladis's new salon located in North salt lake city and was very pleased. Even though I was a little early for my haircut appointment I was shown right away where the free beverages were and was given a awesome smock to wear while I waited to be seen by my hair stylist Kim Billings. more

Frankie jo is a go! 10/12/2010

Frankie is a very talented hair dresser. She has been in the industry for years. I have extreme confidence in her abilities. She has time and time again exceeded my expectations with my hair. She has taught me how to recreate my curly look at my house as well. Frankie has a wide range of knowledge, she has given me great edgy cuts as well as sassy layered looks. She is my hair doctor. Frankie makes my life better 10/9/2010

As someone who has had many horrible things happen to my hair, I am hesitant to let anyone touch it. My hair is a difficult texture to cut and as I am a hairstylist myself, I admit I'm quite picky and eager for perfection. For the longest time I wished I could pop my head off and put it on a stand so that it would turn out the way I like it after a cut or color. Not only did I find an amazing friend in Frankie, but she LISTENS to what I want done with my hair. She is now the only person I will let near my mane. She has recently taken my hair safely from black to nearly blonde again, a scary task to carry out. It looks fabulous!!! She helped me choose the right products to rebuild my hair after such a big leap in color, leaving it healthy and shiny again. I now drive 4 1/2 hours for Frankie to do my hair. (and I'd drive 10 if i had to) She's absolutely worth it! more

I have worked in the salon industry off and on for 14 years and the Landis experience is the best experience anyone can hope for. From the moment you walk in smell the Aveda scents, to the waiting area and the delicious Tea and coffee they offer, to the neck massage, and washing of the hair they can't be beat. more

I absolutely LOVE Landis Aveda! Best salon i have ever been to! My stylist, Chelsey Keele, is amazing! She always knows exactly what i want and goes the extra mile to make sure my hair looks fantastic! From the very moment I walk in I always know i am in good hands! She always takes the extra time to make sure we are on the same page about my cut and color and never rushes the service! I have never been disappointed and always leave looking amazing! I have had nothing but amazing experiences at Landis. The new salon is just an added bonus to how awesome all the hairstylists are there. I only go to Chelsey Keele, she's made my experience of going to Landis amazing, each and every time. She is very professional and friendly, which is everything you're looking for in a hairstylist. LOVE MY COLOR AND CUT!! 9/27/2010

I came into landis and got my hair cut and colored yesterday by CAROLINE, and she did an AMAZING JOB!!! All i did was come in with a picture of what i was looking for, of course the skin tone on the celeb in the picture was a bit different from mine and i wasnt sure if it was going to look as good. But being the great stylist that she is, caroline knew just what color and highlights were going to be right with my skin tone. and it came out perfect! i couldnt even imagine it being any better. the massage chairs are delightful as well as the hand massage she gave me while my color was setting. The Best in SLC 9/26/2010

I have been seeing Memorie at Landis for the past few years for all my styling needs. This new location is a bit of a drive for me, but it is definitely worth it. The salon is beautiful, the stylists are experts at what they do, and the massage chairs are worth the drive alone! I definitely recommend it! more

Still the best 9/4/2010

Great cut, great color every time! I like to change my style every few months and I love that my stylist at Landis is always up for the challenge. She is always willing to discuss my options with me and make sure I leave the salon happy. Love it! more
