Stand-up Guys 4/17/2010

We completely remodeled our house using a builder, who brought in Landers Premier Flooring for the flooring & tile throughout. They did an excellent job for us. As sometimes happens despite high quality work, there were fixes that needed to be made. John Landers took total responsibility and went above and beyond in making sure that everything was taken care of. I suppose it doesn't look like the best review to mention that we needed fixes but, frankly, these things are sometimes unavoidable and when they happen, you need to know you're dealing with a class operation that will stick by you through those fixes and make sure everything is right. The "Big Box" stores have their place, I suppose, when it comes to flooring. But if you want to find an outstanding selection of flooring without being overwhelmed, and also get real personal service by experts in flooring, then Landers Premier Flooring is the only place to go. Laminate 4/10/2010

I entered the Landers showroom to do some preliminary shopping for laminate. I was not yet ready to purchase and was very upfront with Cristen, my salesperson. I explained that it might be a few months from that time that a purchase would be made. Nevertheless, Cristen took her time and showed me the various laminate options, sent me a proposal and came to my home 2x (once to measure and once because I was having difficulty choosing between two of the samples I'd brought home). Austin's Best Flooring 4/8/2010

Wish I had known about this company when we put new flooring downstairs! I was treated as if I had been the most important customer in the store, even though money was definitely an issue. They worked to help me find solutions that would fit both my budget and my needs. And there was follow-up to be sure that everything was right. Quality Hardwood Flooring! 2/17/2010

I had wood floors put by Lowe's many years ago(because they were cheap) and the the installation was a nightmare! When I decided to do hardwood floors another section of my home 2 years ago, I chose Landers because I saw their quality workmanship in one of my friend's new home. They did a wonderful job back then and they just completed another big job for me 2 weeks ago. The Installers were top notch, courteous and detail oriented. They took great care with moving my furniture and even put felt underneath furniture for me! The job came out beautiful! Also, they were fast! I had several rooms and a hallway finished for me in just one day! I've learned my lesson that in some things, such as wood installation, paying a little higher premium is definitely worth it in the end!!! Flooring 1/21/2010

I had beening wanting to put wood flooring in my townhome and after checking various other places, I decided to check out Landers Premier Flooring, and I am so glad that I did. Not knowing exactly what kind of flooring I wanted, Cristen was there to help me make a decision. I am so very happy with the outcome! The guys came out promptly and I was so impressed by their timeliness to get the job done in one day. You pay for what you get and I came out ahead on that deal! Fantastic Experience 1/19/2010

We had our entire upstairs carpet replaced with Mirage wood flooring. The team of installers arrived at 9am and removed the carpet, prepared the subflooring, and laid the new floors by 3pm. It was truly amazing. They did a beautiful job! The guys even put the felt pads on all of my furniture for us before putting all of the furniture back in place. It was certainly above and beyond in our opinion! The team that replaced our carpet also did a great job. I recommend Landers without hesitation! Ask for Cristin when you call. Awesome Quality and Customer Service! 1/15/2010

I had originally planned to go with another company to carpet and tile my 1700 sf house, but after poor customer service, the inability to take samples home, and lack of followup there, I ended up at Landers for a try. I had a very limited budget, and John really worked with me to fit both the tile and the carpet I needed into a price range I could handle---and within the timeframe I needed around other remodeling work being done and other deadlines. I was only going to be able to afford either tile or carpet (in something I liked) with the other company, but got much better quality, pricing, and awesome customer service from Landers. I was able to take all the time I needed with samples through the selection process, and I found John's refreshing honesty, patience, and knowledge of the industry with all of my very detailed research and questions extremely accommodating. What a pleasure it was to work with Stephanie, and the various installers that represented her company. We originally went to the store with product ideas, that turned out to be limited, and during her on site visit, Stephanie provided additional options that turned our 1984 home into a 2010 "Model Home". Like others have stated in their reviews, interior design and color coordination were just an added benefit, to the enitre project. The Landers were warm and made our first impression so positive we went back after looking elsewhere. Cristen was very helpful and came to our home and measured then made designer suggestions at no extra charge. A few days later professional installers Pete and Benjamin did a fantastic job. Integrity and Beautiful Work 11/15/2009

Did tons of research and got lots of different bids. John was always professional, and worked to make me happy and worked to fit my budget of $13k. The shaw handscraped floors made a dramatic difference in my home, and the installation was painlessly fast and beautiful. I have done many remodels, and will use him in the future for my flooring needs. Of the nine or so different flooring people I got bids from, it was only John Landers and one other company that were truly honest and actually cared. I have faith in his abilities and his fairness and do recommend him. Do not sign a contract with anyone before getting him to bid your job. Great experience with Landers Premier Flooring 10/30/2009

Years back I had wool carpet installed in my home. No one mentioned to me that moths could become a problem. This year we suffered a huge moth infestation that ate large sections of the carpet. I went to Landers Premier Flooring to find the best way to replace my flooring. Stephanie was so helpful in pointing me in the right direction for the best type of carpeting to have with my young kids and large dogs. We ordered it and set the install date. Due to rain, the installation got moved back one day, but that's not their fault. The installers showed up right on time, were very polite, and I was comfortable enough to leave them in my home while I meet someone for lunch. You could tell these guys are experienced professionals. And they were so fast! By the time I got back from lunch, all the new carpet was installed and they had already moved my furniture back in. It looks great! We're very pleased with the selection, price, installation and service we received from Landers Premier Flooring. Thanks Stephanie! Highly Recommend - Professional and Quality Installation! 8/29/2009

My husband and I shopped around quite a bit before making our choice for hardwood flooring and company to install. From the first impression to the end of our installation, Landers Premier Flooring met and exceeded our expectations! The showroom is beautiful and had a large selection of samples to choose from. John personally came to the house and helped in choosing the right kind of wood for our home and budget. Installation was top notch! The team carefully moved furniture, worked quickly and were extremely courteous and professional. The 1,000 sq. feet project was completed in one day - floors 100% floated out (not just spot floated) and prepped, wood and trim installed and cleaned, and furniture back in place. It was amazing! Manufacturer defect in some of the flooring (delaminated). 8/18/2009

Some of the flooring had a manufacturer defect. Thirty boards had to be pulled up. It was a long (3 month) process but boards were replaced. When something like this happens, distributors and independent inspectors need to come out. Reports need to be filed. I guess it doesn't happen too often but when it does it is an inconvenience. This could have been a one day install/visit. After the install there were 5 additional visits to get this resolved.
