We stopped by Landers after visiting several other stores looking for wood flooring. This was the best experience by far from the showroom to the professionalism of the staff. Cristen Finnell demonstrated great patience and worked with us to narrow down the type of flooring we were looking for. We came back again to work with her on the tile and backsplash as well. Throughout the experience she was highly responsive and incredibly helpful. more

We just had new carpeting installed in our home. I cannot say enough about the folks at Landers. Cristen helped make a great carpet selection, assisted with scheduling and rescheduling around painting that was going on simultaneously at our home. The installation crew did a great job. They were in and out in less than 8 hours. They were careful moving our furniture. They assisted moving furniture pieces into new locations after the installation. They cleaned up!!! Don't hesitate to make Landers your destination for new flooring! more

I went to Landers Premier Flooring at the recommendation of my interior designer. They have a very large range of flooring options and excellent and knowledgeable staff. Cristen Finnel is top notch and knows exactly what works and what needs to be done. Cristen came to my home and measured the area perfectly. I had other bids and other people measure but she uses a tool which is very accurate and eliminates waste or guessing on exact materials needed. She decides on how the floor is to be laid and calculates a totally complete bid including different colors of shoe molding where needed. When it was time for the team (5 hard working people) to arrive to lay the floor they were swift, accurate and knowledgeable. After swiftly and carefully moving all of my furniture they prepped the floor. At around 4 another crew of 4 workers arrived and they finished the floor like an army of ants! Around the fire place they used a special saw and cut the stone so the wood slid under the fireplace and looks like it was built that way! I cannot say enough positive things about the assistance from Cristen and staff at Landers and the installation process. i will use them when i am ready to do the bedrooms! I have several friends who have purchased their floor from other retailers and they have been extremely unhappy with the installation and the handling of the problems. If you want a professional experience with perfect results go to Landers!!! more

Landers Premier Flooring provides a great selection of flooring with the added touch of having sales staff that understand design and how stressful it can be when selecting flooring. My contractor told me to ask for Cristen Finnell because he had other customers rave about her expertise and bedside manner. I was remodeling a 1970s house, replacing all flooring with cork and tile (bathrooms and utility room). Cristen looked at my countertop selection and ask a series of questions to guide me through deciding on my cabinet wood and color. From there, I was able to select my cork, tile, and back splashes. Cristen brought the samples out when she measured and we decided we didn't like the cork pattern against the bathroom tile. We ended up putting a neutral tile on the bathroom floor to bridge the cork and the wall tile. It turned out perfect! Cristen designed the tile layout in both bathrooms switching to a diamond layout above the accent tile. She also recommended tile shelves. I really appreciated Cristen's suggestions that ended up making what could have been ""Plain Jane"" bathrooms into understated elegance.\r \r Later, Cristen help me select tile for my fireplace hearth and the area under my bar. Again, she spent numerous hours picking out samples which she brought by the house before I made my selection. I am very happy with my ""new"" house and give a lot of credit to Cristen for making it as stress free as possible. Landers Premier Flooring did an excellent job with installation. Beto, the tile installer, spent time with me going over options. He wanted to make sure I was 100% happy and I am!\r \r \r \r \r \r more

What a great experience working with Landers Flooring to choose wood flooring for our living area and dining room. I actually saw them on t.v. From the time I walked in the door, designer and flooring expert, Cristen, made the process easy. That is saying a lot for me, as I am picky and often regretful of my choices. She listened, she found several samples, she made me touch, look at them from different angles, and ponder the possibilities. She was very calm, not pushy, and made the whole experience a good one. In fact, I am looking for carpet, and tile for the bathroom and bedroom. I know exactly where I am going! Back to Kristen. She makes it soooo easy!!! And may I add, top, top quality wood and carpet. I am really enjoying my wood floors tonight! What are they? Hickory, random widths, and HAND scraped-- from Shaw. Thanks, Cristen! more

We obtained 3 quotes prior to buying and installing our flooring. Sears, another local business & Landers. Both Sears & the other local business incorrectly measured our space, by more than 100 square feet. Not only did Landers correctly measure the job, their sales rep, Cristen Finnell, was able to discern, based on our needs, exactly which products and even colors were best for our household. Cristen's knowledge and honesty took all the anxiety out of making this decision. Furthermore, she was involved with our job from beginning to end. Not only were we incredibly pleased with Landers sales staff professionalism, their installers were extremely professional. They took our house apart and put it back together without one scratch on anything. We have a few more large projects coming up and we are very happy in that we are not going to have to obtain several quotes to get them done. Cristen Finnell is great. She helped us find a match for our 20 year old hardwood floor in the kitchen when others were stumped. We did another room and the stairs in wood. They look great. We also did tile and carpet and I couldn't be more pleased. The installers for all three projects were extremely professional and took pride in giving us a beautiful finished project. I would recommend Landers to anyone. more

We recently worked with Cristen Finnell to install hardwood floors in our formal living and dining areas. Cristen was extremely professional and knowledgeable and took the time to explain the pros and cons of all our choices -- important issues that were never explained to us at the ""big box stores."" Cristen/Landers was price competitive and had a higher quality product than what we found elsewhere. The installation went exceptionally well and the installation crew was top-notch all the way. The flooring was not only installed with perfection, but you could have eaten off the floor when the installers left. We will definitely go back to Cristen/Landers when we begin our next flooring project. We are thrilled with our quality product and in staying within budget. GREAT JOB! more

Christen Finnel at Landers Premier flooring was amazing in helping us with numerous projects throughout the house. She provided excellent customer service, great advice and worked tirelessly ensuring our renovations were as stress free as possible. We had new wood floors installed on our second floor, main floor wood floors restained, new fireplace tiled and a kitchen backsplash completed by her. We are very happy with all aspects of each job, including the quality of workmanship and materials used. We highly recommend Christen and her company to take on any job in their field. more

My husband and I lost our house in the Bastrop wildfire a little over a year ago. When we were ready to rebuild, we discovered Lander's. I'm here to tell you that Cristen Finnell at Lander's Premier Flooring is the bomb! She worked so hard for us ....Lander's did all the floors and tiling in our 3,000 sq ft home. We couldn't be happier with the end result. I absolutely love the wooden floor they laid for us. The travertine tile flooring is gorgeous...I would be hard pressed to say which I like better. The carpet is exactly what we wanted. The customer service was exemplary. They were professional, prompt and thorough. When issues arose, they were addressed with breath-taking speed. We will be living with and looking at the jobs they did for many years to come. Thank you, Lander's and Cristin, you're the best! more

You can't beat Dale at Landers 2/9/2012

Dale at Landers was like a free project manager for us. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. What he said is what he did. This is not the norm for the re model industry. Landers price was competitive but not the lowest. The service Dale provided was worth more than the difference. The ceremic tile crew was very knowledgeable and professional and finished a day early. Salesman Dale Markel and his installation team did a great job of moving furniture, removing old carpet, leveling the entire surface area, getting new wood floors installed, and furniture replaced in less than one day--no mess left behind. more
