I am basing this review on my own personal experience, and though I'm sure there are great service techs and other employees of Land Rover Nashville, my last experience has prompted me to write this warning. My 2002 Freelander has had numerous problems. In January, I brought it in for service for several issues, one of which was the fact that the car overheated and appeared to be leaking coolant. After dropping my car off for a scheduled appointment time on Wednesday, by Monday I had still never heard a thing back even on its diagnosed problem. I had to call myself, and ""Kevin"" mentioned a few of the other issues but not the overheating/coolant problem. When I mentioned this, he seemed as if he'd forgotten to even look at the problem. He later called me to tell me that the thermostat itself was broken and had been replaced so that I could pick up my car. I picked up my car, and it continued to overheat and leak coolant and eventually just died completely. I had it towed to a non-Landrover mechanic, who could not even get the car to start and said there was fluid leaking from the main gasket. I finally took a look at my service ticket from LR in Jan, and saw in fine print that ""thermostat replaced but it continues to leak coolant. This could mean engine failure . . .which could be a problem in the near future."" I'm responsible for not reading the fine print, but Kevin told me the problem was the thermostat and it had been fixed. PERIOD! So, instead of my being able to sell the car when it was running for some sort of money, I'll now be lucky to sell it for scraps since it would cost more to get it running than the car is worth. I would never drive a Land Rover again, and if you have one, I'd suggest taking it to AutoTech for service.
Cons: Dishonesty, doesn't fix your car's problem
