Lancer Service

If you want Honest, Personal and Quality service I'd strongly recommend Lancer. From the owner on down everyone treated me like I was their best customer. They do a awesome assessment of your vehicle and give you their findings. The best part is there isn't any pushy sales for any of their services recommended. They simply give you the information and let you make all the decisions. If you have questions they are more that willing to answer them for you. They give a very accurate and detailed estimate of the work they plan to do so you are completely informed.\r \r I had a vibration in my truck and previous attempts at other service centers didn't fix the problem. I just happend to attend a seminar done by the owner of Lancer and could tell they offered Honest Service. I sent an e-mail to the owner detailing my problem and from that point on made me feel like we'd been friends for years. They diagnosed the problem to still be from service I'd had done at another company. They recommended I take it back to that company to warrenty their work. It took a couple days to get it in at the other company. The other company stated that my drive shaft was fine and that I needed $1800 worth of work done on my rear differential. I told that company I'd call them back. It just so happened that the owner of Lancer called me to see what the other company had told me. I shared with him what they were recommending and he said do not have them do any work because my problem is not with the rear diff. Thank goodness for Lancer because as it turns out after brining it back to Lancer my problem was the drive shaft that the other company had built and put on my truck. \r \r I will never go anywhere else for service on any of my vehicles unless I'm stranded in another state. Everyone that knows me has heard how great Lancer and while they probably hope they never need to look forward to experiencing the AWESOME service that I told them about. more

I've been taking my car to Lancer for close to 5 years now. They've helped me with everything from a recall, diagnostic problems, insurance claims, and your regular oil change and tune-ups. The guys there are friendly, trustworthy and take a genuine interest in getting my vehicle up and running. The only thing I know about cars is that I'll always trust Lancer to give me the best service and turn an otherwise frustrating and difficult situation into a smooth and easy transaction. I brought my car into Lancer just for the convenience of the location and found it to be a wonderful experience. The experienced mechanics took the time to explain to me what was going on with my car (some heavy duty repairs) and were very knowledgeable. I have been back since and will continue to do so. more

I would bring my car back to Lancer anytime! Everyone is very friendly, down to earth and professional. When I brought my car they let me know what was actually wrong with my car and not giving me false information like I have in the past from other shops in the area. Lancer Service is by far the most exceptional automotive repair facility I have ever come across. Everything about Lancer is extraordinary in comparison to anyone else. They have a very professional, dedicated, experienced staff. Working with everyone there is a pleasure. Given my lack of mechanical aptitude, I greatly appreciate the time they spend with me during each and every visit. They are able to clearly explain what was done or what needs to be done (recommended) in comprehensible terms. This facility goes above and beyond in all that they do. Even when you bring your car in for a simple oil change, they thoroughly inspect the car. Whereas, other shops are more or less, get in, get out, goodbye! My experience is that Lancer really thrives itself on quality. However, they are still able to maintain competitive pricing with other places in the area. I went here because it was on the AAA site and near where I was staying, but it wasn't worth it. They tried to tell me I needed all sorts of work that was more than the car was worth. At least they agreed that the work may not be worth doing and let me go on my way with just a hoist fee. I brought in my car for a second opinion elsewhere and they were able to do the job for literally $6 for some fluids compared to $1500 to replace the power steering and misc. items. Any time the print out says ""misc."" labor that might not be good. Not worth the convenience of their location. more

After reading the good reviews elsewhere I was surprised, but Lancer overshot their estimate significantly, did not phone for authorization before hand, and surprised me with the huge bill when I went to get the car. They were defensive and unapologetic about it. Hopefully a fluke, but beware... more
