I can eat raw dough at home. 1/28/2009

The location is close to work and ate there several times. I no longer eat the pizza here, I switched to sandwiches and salad because the pizza is consistently undercooked. I can eat raw dough at home. \r \r Pizza is terrible, aside from the occasionally fresh toppings, sandwiches are ok, pastas and salads are average, service is always short and typically unfriendly. Good Pizza 10/7/2005

The pizza was a little greasy, but it tasted great! The garlic cheesy breadsticks were awesome! Big plasma tv's, and air hockey table make it a great place to take the children. Very friendly staff. I never knew this place existed, but I will be going there from now on. What a pleasant surprise! more

This is the best place to eat pizza in all of greater Austin. I live in Austin and drive to Round Rock to get this pizza. The place is great and very supportive of the community around it. Pros: Taste, variety, price, location more

Pizza! 10/15/2003

My husband and I we're planning on ordering from Austin's Pizza one day but who knew they close so early at 8pm? So we decided to try Lamppost and we're glad we did. It's so much better than Austin's and they serve more than just pizza. They're lot more friendly too. I like the atmosphere. It's a perfect place for parties. There are 3 large screen TV's showing sporting events and pitchers of beer that make sitting back, watching the game much more enjoyable. Superior products, friendly service and a fun, family-oriented atmosphere fuel Lamppost Pizza's success. The menu focuses on pizza made with fine ingredients as well as pastas, sandwiches, wings, potatoes and appetizers to please the palates of all ages. Pizzas range from the basic pizza with your choice of toppings, to a more sophisticated specialty product pioneered by Lamppost in the early 1980's. The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet is available on weekdays, 11am to 2pm. Happy Hour is everyday, 4 to 7pm, and all day Thursday buy $2 pints and $7 pitchers.
