If I could have listed a negative 100 star review I would have. This place is a nightmare. When you rent the cost is relatively Ok. When you move out expect an absolute nightmare for hidden costs. Being a renter for years in multiple locations this was the worst communication/ per ten ate experience I've been apart of. Not only did I rent 2 places from them at once and refer a friend, they still screwed me. I hate this place. I got charged for things you cannot even clean to anyones expectations (patio door dirt $20, Ceiling fan $10, storage locker $40, dirty over fan $10!!!!!!!!) Who cleans an oven fan. I hate this place more than anything. more

Definatly worth the price!! \r Lamplighter apartments are by far the best in Kaukauna! My Significant other and I have been looking for an appartment for months that was up to our standard. And our standard wasn't much! All we wanted was a 1 bedroom 1 bath appartment that had air conditioning and looked halfway decent for the price. Many apartments we looked at were stained all over, bad lighting, and no circulation through windows. Most only had 1 window!\r When we toured the lamplighter apartments our mouths just dropped! They are beautiful! There are large windows in every room that circulate more than enough that you dont need the A/C. There is a large patio on every appartment that you can put chairs and a table and still have alot of room to walk. Every apartment includes cable, brand new washer & dryers, great dishwasher, and new stoves! The apartments are very spacious. Includes a garage and parking space. They really are Laplighter LUXURY Apartments! I Love mine!! Pros: The rooms are like a huge canvas, There is so much space to be creative with decorating! Cons: Trash bins are down 2 apartment buildings, (but I just throw the trash bag in my trunk and drive down there on my next trip out of town) more

I lived in the lamplight ""luxury"" apartment homes in Kaukauna, WI for two years with my significant other. \r \r They will tell you that it's a family environment, with lots of activities and gatherings. If you consider the police driving around the apartments constantly and cars being broken in to a family type activitiy then they are the right apartments for you! I did not meet or talk to ONE person the entire time I lived there until the day we started moving out!\r \r Also - The mail and garbage are barely within walking distance. It takes 10 minutes just to walk to one or the other. The mail lady also messed up the mail A LOT - we got other neighbor's mail on more than one occasion.\r \r They also recently added cable to the rent which is just a way for them to make more money. A lot of people there already have satelite dishes and don't even want cable.\r \r The plumbing in our apartment was a mess. The dishwasher broke on two occasions, the hot water heater flooded our bathroom, and the toilet constantly ran. You have to put in a request to get things repaired (typical for any apartment building) - but after things were fixed we still had problems.\r \r We recently moved out and are having a very difficult time getting our security deposit back. We had a professional cleaning lady clean our apartment for us when we moved, and they are still claiming things were ""dirty"". \r \r Beware! Pros: Nice apartments Cons: Poor managment, not worth the price, and unfriendly neighbors. more
