My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Lambs. We realized we both needed tires from the ""other"" tire company. Lambs was able to beat the competition and suggest a less expensive tire with longer tread for my car. Road noise & traction are my biggest concerns and the tires they suggested were great! My husband is also happy with the tires he was suggested as well. The manager took excellent care of his and he was very knowledgeable. We are Lambs customers for life!!!!!!! I just took my old truck in to get the brakes fixed and I was very happy with the way they treated me. It is nice to do business with a company that cares about their customers. I feel like they cared about my satisfaction with the service and price. As a single woman, I am happy to find an auto place I trust and I probably won't take my car anywhere else to get fixed. more

I have been to this location in Round Rock several times for my wife, daughter, and myself. The service is always fast, friendly, and at the quoted price. It's nice to know that you can go to one place and get consistent quality work done every time. The employees here really are great. more

So I take my vehicle firstly because I needed an oil change. I also was aware that my transmission needed to be flushed, and that my front brakes were squeeling.\r \r The guy at the counter told me they would take a look at it and would get back to me with what exactly needed to be taken care of. I was told that it would roughly cost me about $350 to take care of it all beforehand. \r \r I get a call later on and am told that it would cost me a ridiculous $1,080 because they were able to find that all rotors/brakes needed to be replaced and that the rotors were too thin to machine. Low and behold, I take the tires off myself and check the brakes and rotors and they are perfectly fine with plenty of life left in them. The guy even went as far as to give me measurements of how thin the brakes were. I was able to do all the necessary repairs myself for less than $100.\r \r I also noticed the brand of brakes and rotors I was quoted for, were atleast $18 cheaper a piece at Advanced Auto Parts. They also proceeded to quote me for a bunch of other things that needed no attention whatsoever. I think its a shame in these tough economic times how some businesses will manipulate people into paying for services that are not needed. \r \r Shop around people, and educate yourself about maintenance of your vehicle and you will surely find businesses like that are just in it for the money. I've gone to lambs several times to get my vehicle inspected. They tried to fail my inspection because my car's OBD connector was not connecting to their computer. I asked how much it would be to repair and they quoted over a 1000 bucks. I went to autozone and asked the guy over the counter about electric diagrams for that connector and right away he said to check the cigarette lighter fuse. That was it! Surprising that an actual repair shop would not even bother checking a fuse and have the audacity to quote over a 1000 bucks for something like that. \r \r I also went there to buy tires. Included was a free oil change which I took. I was there for almost two hours. The didn't just change my oil but did a bunch of diagnostics of things that needed to be done. The repairs would cost thousands of dollars. After that cigarette lighter fuse incident I had a hard time believing all the things he said was wrong with my car. I just feel sorry for those that get suckered in to doing more

\r We recently bought 4 minivan tires with road hazard warranty through Lamb's thinking it would cover us if something happened to one of the tires...wrong. My wife had a gash in one of the tires so she took it to good ole Lambs where they told her ""Everything will be fine! Ill bet you're glad you got the road hazard warranty?"" The guy went on to tell her not to worry and everything will be taken care of. When I went to pick up the MINIVAN with stock rims (nothing special) the guy again said how fortunate I was to have the ""Road Hazard Warranty"". Then he proceeded to check me out saying there were some ""small fees"". At that point he charged me $64 which included another charge for Road Hazard. WOW! I sure was glad to have the ""Warranty""! \r ""Best in Austin for customer satisfaction"" - Here is a lie from the Lambs website. Everyone i've told this story to has laughed at me for even trying Lambs! Still waiting to hear something positive. I hope you are reading this BEFORE going to Lambs. \r more

They wouldn't pass my vehicle inspection because of a very small/minor problem. They said that problem would be $150 for them to fix. When I called around to find out how much the part would cost it was less than a third of that price. When I called back to tell them what I'd found they went on about how the parts they ordered were higher quality, etc, etc. I bought the part and fixed the problem myself. When I returned to have my vehicle re-inspected (I had already paid for this service) they tried to charge me more for the inspection. I was furious and ended up leaving without having my car inspected. This place is a huge rip-off and does not know the meaning of customer service. more
