Wish I could give this kennel no stars, but 1 star is the least possible. Anyway, this facility has no professional groomer, the owner is now the ""groomer"" but this tidbit of information is not relayed to customers when they call. Not only did Jim the ""groomer"" cut my cat with the shaver, he also cut his claw well beyond the quick so that my cat's paw bled. His facility, although I didn't see the back where the grooming takes place must be filthy as my cat picked up fleas from this facility. Launched a complaint against this kennel with the BBB. Jim the owner/""groomer"" basically admitted that he cut my cat with the shaver and that he cut my cat's paw below the quick making it bleed. His attitude however was SO WHAT these things HAPPEN. If you value the safety of your beloved animal stay away from this facility. more

Lakeview is our first choice when we need to board our dogs. The owners live on the property, they offer nature walks around the property, and the staff know our dogs by name. We have never had any problems. more

Man, was my dog dirty, caked fecal mater and smelling of urine. They asked me if I wanted them to give him a bath before I picked him up when I dropped him off for a special fee. I'm really glad I didn't pay for this extra service because I would never have known how dirty he was. If this dog ever really angers me I might leave him here again ;-). How can this place have a 3.5 stars rating overall with no good ratings? more

This is a sad story. My parents brought their 2 dogs for boarding during a busy holiday weekend. The smaller dog has diabetes so they gave the kennel her insulin with instructions and labels for everything. She got sick because they gave the insulin to the OTHER non-diabetic dog. This was a mistake that should have been caught within the 4 days it took their diabetic dog to die. Thank goodness the non diabetic dog was large enough to withstand the extra insulin shots. ?PLEASE if you bring in your pet with a health problem, label everything and stand there watching them check through everything and your instructions. Double check and double check again. This kennel needs a better and safer system. Pros: they were honest about their mistake and took full responsibilty Cons: negligence resulting in death of dog more
