Wonderful Staff and Excellent Care 10/13/2009

I have been going to the Lakemont Veterinary Clinic for years. I currently own four cats and a dog, and they have always received excellent care from each of the doctors. When I have unfortunately lost animals, the enitre staff did what they could to help and were sympathetic and supportive. I never have to wait long for an appointment, even when I call with an unexpected problem. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and caring. more

My New Baby 3/5/2009

Recently early on A Saturday morning my beagle, Bailey had a seizure. I rushed her to their clinic and they took such good care of her. Plus, they took care of me. I was a nervous wreck and in tears. They calmed me down and took care of Bailey. What more could you want from a veterinary clinic? more

Friendly staff 11/21/2008

We took my moms dog there last weekend for an absessed tooth. The staff was friendly and gentle with our large baby. He was thrilled to get the special attention (and treats) by the staff. We will be going back! Thanks for taking special care of our beloved pet! more

Lakemont Vets Not so Hot 6/5/2008

I have a dog and a cat and in an effort to try to control my costs in this crazy economy, I chose to order my pet medecine on-line. Lakemont Veterinary would not cooperate with the on-line company and forced me to drive to their location (15-20 miles for me) to pick up a prescription. Then, they had the nerve to charge me $3.00 for the prescription. That is like your doctor telling you that you have to buy your meds from him/her rather than go to WalMart or CVS. That is an attempt to block free commerce. If the mark-up was not so high in the Vets' offices, I would be happy to buy my pets' meds there. They cannot control where I buy my pets' medications. They can share their opinions but that is all. They not only lost my two pets but they lost my boyfriend's two pets when he moves over here.\r Mari L. more

Dr. Yeager is an invaluable resource 4/14/2008

Dr. Yeager came to Lakemont a few years ago to the excitement of those of us in the ferret community. Dr. Yeager is an expert in the care of ferrets, unlike some vets who just think that they are. \r \r Dr. Yeager also provides care to avians. I have an adopted conure with chronic respiratory issues and Dr. Yeager takes excellent care of him. \r \r She practices the most humane euthanasia process of sedating your pet so they are truly in a calm slumber prior to injecting the euthanasia medication. more

Very Good 9/3/2005

Lakemont Veterinary Clinic is very good. They are very Clean and have the nicest Veterinarians around. They where so nice with my cats and treated them good. I was able to call the same day i brought my cats in and also didn't have to wait long for an appoitment. more
