Lake Worth Animal Hospital

Dr. Morales is the most caring vet I have come across either here is S. Fl or my previous home in Atlanta.\r She takes time to check my dog thoroughly and answers any questions that i have. I am very impressed that she has staff that shows the same dedication and care for my dog as she does. Recently Lucas, our Schnauzer had to have some dental surgery and I could not have asked for better attention or care. \r Lucas has always had anxiety issues when I have had to board him and after picking him up he does not leave my side, but when I picked him up after his surgery it was as if i had just gone to work and returned home. He had no anxiety or came running into my arms. I could not believe it. Very impressed.\r Thank you Dr. Morales and your staff. more

I am not the type to write a review like this but I don't want what happened to our girl to happen to anyone else. Lake Worth animal hospital killed our 8 year old girl. We took her in to get spayed and some small tumors removed (that turned out to be nothing all said and done). Very long story short they the hit her colon during the operation. Worst part of the whole thing was I took her back in to the lake worth animal hospital 3 days after the operation because she collapsed trying to go to the bathroom. They blamed it on her eating something bad, Dr Morales advised AGAINST a blood test and said to take her home for the weekend. She made it one more day before I had to take her to an emergency VET and have a blood test done and find out she was in very bad septic shock. We has her cut open but by that time it was too late. When I approached Lake work Animal hospital about it, they tried to blame me for feeding her something that cut her colon. I wouldn't trust this place to cut my a more

Lake Worth animal hospital is one of the cleanest animal hospitals i have ever been at. it never really smells like a typical vets office should. it smells of hand wash soap or just fresh linen. The staff and the doctor are very compassionate and treat my dog with the top performance. They are gentle and they treat each patient with the care they need. They always give an estimate. They never just do a procedure without informing you of the price AND they are the best prices i have found in lake worth. They can always fit you in for appointments and make you feel like your of the utmost importance; like you are number 1. I would recommend lake worth animal hospital for any visit for your pets! i feel very comfortable with them more

When you walk in the door one feels immediately comfortable. The staff and Dr. Morales are extremely kind and knowledgable. You feel that your animal is their #1 concern and that you and your family member are their highest priority. I have been taking My Baby to Lake Worth Animal Hospital,For over 6 years ,DR MORALES and her Staff are COMPETENT,CARING,And will always go out above and beyond, for for my pet,When i cant make it to the clinic for medications, They go out of there way to drive it to my house,The surgery was a success,Baby's growth is gone and she can see again,my pet is 12 years old and i trust them,I will never go to another hospital,licks from Baby. Having been several times for my own pets and lastly for a stray kitten with a broken leg, I would never again recommend Dr. Morales or Lake Worth Animal Hospital. Having been unsatisfied with the treatment she gave my pets (2 cats) I stopped going to Dr, Morales as I found her to be inconsistent in treatment and her staff to be incompetent and borderline rude. I repeatedly got the impression she gave unnecessary medical services to drive up her bill. This was reconfirmed recently when I returned to Dr. Morales with a kitten in urgent need (my new regular vet being unavailable.) I was made to wait around for 4 hours while her and her staff chatted about unrelated issues in other rooms, went to fetch lunch and took and retook failed xrays (due to the technician's incompetence.) I and a 4 week old stray kitten with a severely injured leg (later to be amputated) waited 3 hours for Dr. Morales and her staff to get their act together and give us a prognosis. Long story short, the leg had to be amputated ($700 which had to be paid on the spot, Morales would not even consider a payment plan despite my past perfect payment history with her) something they would have know had they removed the bandage on the leg of the kitten ($33 bandage removal charge) prior to taking xrays ($80 charge.) A few phone calls later I found a better option elsewhere for the kitten, paid up my $158 vet bill and left Lake Worth Animal Hospital never to return. Lack of professionalism, lack of compassion, lack of ""morals."" I strongly urge anyone considering going to this practice to reconsider and look elsewhere. more

Dr Morales and staff have been the most helpful and caring veterinary professionals. They care deeply about our dogs and treat them as if they were their own. It is a pleasure to take our dogs to Dr Morales and Staff for their medical needs. Our dogs are very comfortable when they are there for their medical needs. My experience has been off and on...Dr. Morales seems wonderful, no complaints with her. They have another doctor there that I think gave my cat another strain of bacteria at her infection site. I have seen two vet techs there, one seems nice and handles my cat as gently as possible, and the other who man-handles my cat (who is so gentle and cooperative in nature that she barely squirms when a finger is put in her bum to examine her anal sacs). Overall, I will not go back. I like Dr. Morales a lot, but I've gotten the terrible tech in 8/9 visits, and I will not stand for that kind of treatment. more

Went to visit a friends cat while he was boarded there. They said they do not let them out of the cages (He had been there for 5 days without leaving the cage, with another 4 days to go). They are rough with the animals and speak to them terribly when they think customers are not around. Anyone who considers their pet a part of their family should take a long hard look at this facility before boarding. You will reconsider if you get a look behind the scenes. more

If you have a new pet or a old pet, this is the place to go. They have spay and neutering ,and low cost shots, as well as a emergency center if your pets get sick. They also specialize in birds as well as reptiles. They have a very nice waiting area inside for your pets as well. They are inexpensive, and you can call if you have problems.
