Best

That little old town movie theater experience. So much nicer than the big flashing in your face joints.

Worst

There movies usually suck, they show the same movies for ever, and its too expensive!!!

Great little cinema 6/21/2009

I've been twice. (I've been in the area for about 3 months.) If they show a movie that I wish to see, I see it here. I'm over 6' tall, I find the seats just fine; better than some of the stadium seat in the cineplexes, which tend to be tired. The popcorn is indeed just wonderful. Better than I can make and certainly better than any cineplex popcorn that I've ever had. The parking lot appears to be being improved and is under construction during late spring 09; but since I walk to the cinema it is of no real concern. Be forwarned that they do not take credit cards; but they may be the only place in Oregon that will take a check with out needing a special check card, nice. Other than the threat of enticing too many people to attend and spoiling my special place, I recommend the "Lake Twin" to everyone. Keep up the good work. more

Nice little theater for those close to it! 8/10/2005

The Lake Twin Cinema has been in Downtown LO for years, not too long ago, it shut down, but it has now been renevated and is back open for business. The prices are in tune with everything else in downtown LO, somewhat expensive, but the location makes it worth it. It is right on the lake and a nice walking distance to many restaraunts and other local venues. It is a fabulous area to be in. Worth a trip out to it if you can swing it. It isn't too far out of the way of I-5 and the 217 interchange, so check it out if you can! more
