Lake Mary Dental: Lall Deoraj R DDS

One of the most professional dentistry practices I have ever had the good fortune to be a patient of. They mantain professional decorum and high productivity while fostering a very pleasant family-like work environment. I am a new patient, and just went in for my first examination yesterday (8/10/11). Jessica took very good care of me and performed her job better than anyone ever has, in that it was both very quick and painless. She then provided me with a relatively inexpensive plan for the Fillings and Debridement that I needed. She made me feel very welcome, and I appreciated it. Dr. Fuller was a very welcoming and warm person, and brought both expertise and a traditional sense of a doctor that cares about his patients on an individual level. Today (8/11/11) I went back for my debridement, and had Toni as my Dental Hygienist. She made the process as painless as possible, but had me in and out faster than I thought would be possible. They have new equipment and a very good scheduling system. They fit you in as conviniently as is possible. Though, in my opinion, the best thing about Lake Mary Dental is the atmosphere. The atmosphere there is something I have never experienced at a dentistry. Later today I have to go for fillings with Dr. Fuller, and I look forward to it greatly! more

I've been a patient for approx 5 years and plan to be for life as long as I don't move out of the state. They are very professional all around. Dr Lall is AWESOME, and my hygienist Marlyn is GREAT. If you're looking for a gently experience, this is the place. The atmosphere is clean, and equipment is modern, yes, its clean and new! I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for the best in the industry! more

When I called to get an appointment (I was having sooooo many problems) last September to say I didn't want to go was a major understatement. I am terrified a of the dentist and was literally shaking when Toni took me back to start my procedure, She was the kindest most understanding person I could ever of imagined. She talked to me and really get me to relax as best I could. After she took care of me I met Dr. Fuller and what a pleasant surprise of professionalism, understanding a truly a gentle man. He told me what needed to be done and to bring my Ipod if I thought I needed it to help me and yes I did....Dr Fuller even commented on my music selection. I now go for my checkups without my Ipod and feel so comfortable. (The office staff is out of sight too!) I feel like Toni is the best hygentist ever and she also calls me herself to confirm my appointments.....Thank you Lake Mary Dental and special kudos to Toni! more

I have never been fond of visiting the dentist, but when I arrived at Lake Mary Dental, my visit was not what I was expecting. Not only was my visit pleasant, but my anxiety was relieved by Jenny Rivera (my sister/Dental Assistant at Lake Mary Dental) and the friendly staff who were taking care of me. Jenny reassured me multiple times that there was nothing to worry about, and that I was in good hands. Dr. Fuller and Terry (dental hygienist) provided me with the best clinical care while also giving me educational information on how to take care of my gums and teeth. I've been going to the dentist since I was very little and never had a cavity, therefore I've never feared the dentist. And I don't need to. I've seen Terry ever since I can remember, and he's the best dental hygienist ever. In between making small talk and being cooperative, Terry's an all around kind family oriented guy. The office also has a great coffee machine for coffee lovers like myself. more

What a great place - it's like the 'Cheers' of the dental community! When I arrive, the entire front desk - Nidya, Ariana and Yamelka - with their lovely smiles and cheery attiitudes - greet me like a long lost friend who has just returned to the fold. They figure out every insurance problem and schedule appointments with friendly, professional courtesy. Toni, my fabulous hygienist, does a wonderful job cleaning my teeth! Not only is she a great technician, she is so much fun to be with, I forget I'm in a dental chair having my teeth cleaned. We chat like old friends, and I believe she is genuinely interested in my oral health. Dr. Fuller is just the kind of dentist a person wants - kind, gentle, and extremely competent! I have been pleased with all my dental work , and am constantly told what great teeth I have! A final shout out to Yolanda and Kendra, who have been friendly and helpful over the past few years. Nidya-is an asset to the Lake Mary Dental team because she was extremly helpful in getting me an appointment quickly. She is always great to see and fun to talk with when I'm there.\r \r Jenny -was extremly nice and courteous. She made my visit into the dentist a good one! I would like to tell every one that Dr Lall is the best ever. He worked on me yesterday & it was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. He used the wand procedure for numbing my gums. I didn't feel a thing & I am affraid of needles. He is a very careing person & he even answered every question I had asked him. The Lake Mary Dental office lives up to their website's Mission Statement. My experience was that they truly were ""ready to listen"" to those they serve - - and I had a lot of questions! They also earned my ""trust and respect"". And, yes, they even were even able to ""exceed my expectations"". They do ""ensure a . . . professional environment."" My family has had very good experiences with both Dr. Lall and Dr. Fuller. I believe that what they tell you is probably the very best that you need. In reference to the one negative review, I found that I WAS able to voice my opinion concerning my particular desires and financial needs and was listened to; and they do offer financing/payment options. Those at the reception desk are very cordial and professional. I had many billing questions because of my ignorance in the field of dentistry. My questions were always answered kindly and without making me feel as though I was a bother. To be honest, we have considered finding a dentist closer to our home in Deland; the drive is about 35 minutes for us. We have decided, however, to just stick with a good thing! more

For someone like myself who stayed away from dentists most of my life, Dr. Lall and the staff at Lake Mary Dental have done nothing but provide the BEST overall care and service. They really make you a part of the treatment and care of your dental needs. Dr. Lall wants the best for his patients, and is really good at explaining what's happening throughout the procedures. Unless you have thousands of dollars to spare you will want to stay away from this place. When you first arrive they take you on a tour and show you all of their in house equipment and tell you how they make all of their crowns and such right there in house. Then the Dentists does his exam, walks away then comes back with an estimate on all of the work you need. In my case it $2,000 dollars more than my insurance coverage and in my fiances case it was $1,400.00. Then they start the hard sell, they want you to pay upfront that day before you even book the appt. and they press you hard. I felt like I was buying a used car! I found another Dentist who was able to do the same work with traditional materials for less than $300.00 out of pocket.\r \r I'm not claiming they tried to sell me un-needed work. It's just they use the most expensive materials and own the machines in house as opposed to sending them out to a lab. They are super expensive and use high pressure sales tactics.
