Molly and Mike E were both helpful and honest. Molly gave me an appt for the same day I called. Mike came early and reviewed my problem. Mike said at this time we did not need a new kitchen faucet which saved us money. more

It was clear that this was not a job Lake Cook wanted. To quote over 900 dollars to cut 2 pipes, pull out a softener, slide another one in and reconnect pipes? Even if some adjustments had to be made this might be a 2 hour job. Got it done with a licensed plumber for 1/8th the cost. I would only suggest that if a job is not one Lake Cook wants, it's much easier to just say that up front/ more

I had a leak in my kitchen sink. I called Lake Cook Plumbing and had a plumber at my house within 90 minutes. Mike was very respectful, had a mask and gloves on when he entered my house. He put shoe covering on and was able to fix my faucet within 30 minutes. I have already recommended Lake Cook Plumbing to a friend. more

My sump pump failed and so did the back up. My daughter arrived to find 8" of water in basement. Not long after,Jeremy,showed up, got the sump pump going. Called his boss Dave, who was able to get a restoration company out that day. By 10 30 pm I had 6 fans 2 Dr humidifiers, a new sump pump and water heater, new motor for furnace and all wet walls removed. Lame Cook Plumbing is the best! more

It was a pleasure to have the Lake Cook Plumber, Michael, in my home to service two areas: leaking PVC pipe; clean and inspect my tankless water heater. We have had several instances where we needed a plumber, including a broken sump pump(flooded basement) and a washing machine overflowing and pumping water an inch deep in the immediate area. Needless to say, when you need a plumber, this is the first place we call. Mike came out this last incident and was able to diagnose a washing machine issue immediately. He also was able to detach a rusted connection(natural gas) so we will be able to install the replacement dryer. Overall, 5 stars.. more

We needed to faucets replaced and one laundry tub we had both faucets and the laundry tub. All we needed was the installation that we could've done ourselves but we ran out of time after many house projects. I had Brian out and he began to ask me about every water related issue in our home including testing our shower and our water etc. We both related that all we wanted was the replacement of the Fossetts that we already have. He then asked how long is it been since I had a plumber out to the house and had I seen a price list lately. Brian told me we might be shocked by some of the prices. He told me that this job would cost $3754. He then told me that the reason it was so high was because of his schooling and that he had more schooling that a brain surgeon. He said asked my wife and I how much we thought it would be or how much we be willing To pay. This gave me the indication that he has a variable pricing schedule and amounts based on how stupid you choose to be. We chose to be smart and we kicked him out of our house. I recently had ... plumbing out to the house and the total for all the jobs including two additional ones that just came up was between four and $500. Anyone who goes with Lake Cook plumbing is asking for a true gouging of your wallet. Never ever use them Lake county residents! more

Both Jeremy and Brian were very professional, polite, and detailed in explaining the tasks that needed to be done involving the replacement of the sump pump discharge line. And after further inspection, Brian recommended the replacement of the pump itself. And I agreed. They carried out the very heavy work of installing the discharge line at a steady, fast pace.
