Although LaFata was far more expensive than any of the other kitchen quotes we had, we went with them (including installation-over$5,000) thinking we would get what we paid for. However that wasn't the case. Delay after delay kept us from moving into our home and we are still suffering from the disasterous installation job. I think LaFata used to be a really good company, but now that the Father is not there a lot, it doesn't seem to be the same company. We have hinges that have come out of the cabinets, and handles that fell out (that we can't reach because it's on a dummy door). You live and learn. I hope no one makes this mistake again. We originally worked with Colleen, but later were shuffled from person to person. Each one passed the buck and we got nothing done. On the outside, the cabinets look pretty enough, but the quality is just not there.
