I cannot say enough great things about both the store Lads & Lassies and the owner Mary Kaye. I had a lot of questions that she was patient to attend to and was very easy to work with. She has sold items for me both in the store and on-line and I got more money than I thought I would. I refer everyone I can to her, and they all have great things to say. more

My daughter, sister, and I all brought in a ton of stuff and they said they had no record of our transaction. I have done some research and found many reviews of this shop saying the exact same thing. They are getting a pretty bad reputation. They offered me $50 as a settlement when they couldn't get me to stop asking so many questions! more

I have been shopping and taking clothes for resale to L&L since they first opened. They are VERY reputable and take special care of your account. I have never had a problem and enjoy doing business with them. They only take and sell quality merchandise. more

This place takes all of you stuff and you don't get anything back!!! They don't give you any accounting of what's happened to your stuff. No money, no items no list. It's crap. I wouldn't use them. It feels like they are stealing form you. The owner lady just laughed at me when I asked questions and then got snooty. Plus,, they price everything lower than some thrift stores. If you drop off your stuff don't expect to have anything when you go back. more

I live in Pensacola FL. \r I?ve shopped at Lad & Lassies since the day they opened; my daughters heard about it at school so of course we had to go; they found many name brand articles; 9 or so years latter L&L was our first stop for baby items; I kept the children while they worked so I had to have my own; Grandma?s baby gear, buying it second hand was the best and cheapest way to go for me.\r I?m on their mailing list and would tell anyone looking for nice second hand baby items; go by L&L you may find it there. more

I found the store to be clean and organized. The owner (for 25 yrs) was friendly and I was able to consign and find some cute, quality kid clothes! Definitely recommend! more

I took some of my used baby items to this store for resale -- some larger items like a double stroller, an exersaucer, a walker, etc. They accepted my items but did not give me an itemized list of what they were taking. I'm glad I'm made a list for my own reference. I went back a few weeks later to see if anything had sold. I was told that nothing had sold yet. I looked around the store, but didn't see ANY of my items. A week later I went back and asked again. I was told the same thing, nothing had sold yet. Since I was nearing the end of the alloted 60 days (after that they KEEP your items and you get nothing), I asked if I would find my things if I looked around the store. The sales clerk asked me a few questions about my stuff, disappeared for about 5 minutes, and then came back and handed me $64. She then said EVERYTHING had sold. I was not given an explanation of how they arrived at the random amount of $64, or why I was first told that nothing had sold. They seem to b more

Lads and Lassies is a huge children's consignment shop with a few adult items included as well. They carry both clothing and shoes and are a great spot to check for dance, sports and scouting equipment and clothing. more
