After 4 different houses we finally got into one. The first house we picked they could not get it appraised, the second house was right next door to the first house they sold it to another person while in negotions with us, the third house would not appraise for what it needed to, and finally we got the fourth house after 6 months of switching houses and countless ""closing dates"" set. On the fourth house we closed one day then we had to reclose the next day again because they took to long on the letter of occupancy paperwork and the closing documents we signed had expired. When we got into the fourth house we had problems with the ac leaking freon, various holes and cracks, the electrical outlets were loose none of the outlet covers sit flush against the wall, doors wouldnt lock right, weatherstripping around doors was not right , and the biggest problem the septic system started backing up in the driveway and stinking the house up, we've been LIVING with problem for 7 months, it NEVER gets fixed fully just band-aids, these are problems we didnt want to deal with , thats why we bought a new house instead of a fixer upper. This whole ordeal has made me and my wife sorry we ever walked into their office to look at house's. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND LAB HOMES,LAB INVESTMENTS FOR ANY TYPE OF HOUSING. Now we're stuck with this mortgage because to sell the house i have to do so many things to get any money out of it.My house is 5-10 feet away from the top of bank on a creek, they did not prepare the lot properly for a house, it looks as if they just dumped dirt and threw a house on top it, all the water drains into my driveway, my doorstep, and my yard floods every time it rains. They promised me the dirt road would get paved, it hasn't. Just more lies to get you to buy a house. I'm going to have to get a lawyer to make sure my investment here isnt wasted.
