Walk-in lunch on a very rainy October day. Very curious since we?ve not had Portuguese food before, and very eager to try it. Very friendly maitre d?, attentive waitress. Exposed kitchen and wood oven gave a very nice cozy feeling to the dining area, perfect for the dreary day. Hubby had the paella, which was so excellent I kept sneaking bites from his plate. I had the lamb stew - only lamb in sauce, which looked a little plain (used to veggies in stews, I guess), with squash and potatoes on side. The meat was very tender, sauce good, veggies done well. Had a glass of some Portuguese wine, ok, nothing special. Portuguese flan was very good. Watched a Portuguese cheese trio served to the next table, really want to try that next. It looked tasty, with fruit/jam(?) accompaniments. Will definitely come back to try dinner.
