I am not one who usually writes reviews but\r \r was so impressed with LaPorta Furniture Company that I wanted to share\r \r my excellent experience. First off, the quality of the furniture is absolutely\r \r unbelievable!! It is not often my expectations are exceeded, but in this case\r \r they were! I am amazed at what I got for my money!!! I know I would easily\r \r have paid double or more for this collection at a typical furniture showroom.\r \r As impressed as I was with the quality and the prices......I was equally impressed\r \r with the service I received! Very Happy Customer!!!!\r I just received my furniture and I love it!!\r I purchased an executive Desk and it is\r absolutely gorgeous! I initially placed my\r order with the owner Phil and he was very\r detailed and patient in answering all my questions.\r Per my discussions with him, and the information\r and pictures on their website, I had very high\r expectations of the desk but...wow!!!!....It is even\r nicer than I expected!!! I'm a busy attorney and\r usually don't take the time to write reviews but....\r I felt the need to in this case. I am a very happy customer!!!! I just received my new\r dining collection and am thrilled! I saw the set\r at my local store in Minneapolis but found LaPorta's was carrying the same set and for substantially less. We actually received our order faster than my local store said\r they could get it to us. This is a fantastic company! I ordered an executive desk\r and a leather sofa for my office. The quality of the items\r exceeded my expectations!!! They were even nice than\r the pictures on their site. I knew I was saving quite a bit\r of money from buying from an online company but never\r expected to get the superior customer service I received.\r The delivery was right on time...the delivery guys were\r great...and my furniture arrived in perfect condition.\r This was an unbelievably smooth transaction from A to Z.\r These guys really delivered!!!!! Furnished My Law Offices 3/9/2012

Furnished each office with the Grand Style Office set. Top of the line furniture that makes a statement. But, the SERVICE is equally as top notch. I doubt I will by from anywhere else. GREAT experience. more

Laporta Furniture has furnished my entire house! 8/19/2011

I'm happy to write this review because I would really like to see other consumers have the same experience as me. I don't believe hype, but I do believe reviews and I think anyone interested in buying ANY piece of furniture, owes it to themselves to visit the website- but really, just call the office. Ask to speak with Philip, which is who helped me. He didn't make me feel like a whiney annoying woman, like I felt in the stores I was shopping in. He answered more questions than I care to admit, and I appreciated that. I thought about my purchases and spoke with my husband, but we couldn't pass up the savings- let's be honest!!! And every item I got, I saved at least half of what I would have paid if I went into a showroom. (I report the same experience as SunnySkies- my desk, my sectional, my theatre seats- all arrived in a pretty impressive shipment!). I absolutely do not gush about things like furniture, much less sales people- but if I did, I would for Philip and the Laporta Furniture Company. more

Just go with the BEST FIRST! 8/3/2011

Let me start out by saying I should have gone here first. I work on Wall Street, so to say my life is busy and hectic is an understatement. I had recently moved, and was looking for new dining room and living room sets. Initially, I went with another company ( who shall remain nameless!) and what a disaster. After taking SIX weeks of my time and 3/4ths of my furniture damaged upon arrival...they sent me a second set. Which, SHOCKER, arrived damaged! Finally I sent it all back, after haggling with these people for weeks on end...and I still got stuck with all of the shipping costs! Well, I found Laporta Furniture had the same items I wanted , so I called and ordered from them. What got me was their shipping process. My furniture arrived in what was the equivalent to Fort Knox! Everything in tact, not a scratch and the delivery was actually right on time. Not only do I appreciate Laporta Furniture Company for not wasting my time...but I got exactly what I wanted. The furniture is beautiful. Their customer service is outstanding. And their shipping process is truly CUSTOM! Two thumbs WAY up for them. I will never go anywhere else. more

Laporta Furniture is BEYOND wonderful! 4/16/2011

I found this online company while looking for furniture on Craigslist. The ads were so impressive, with the actual pictures of items and not just stock photos, I called to talk to their office. I actually was able to talk to the owner of the company, who answered all my questions and didn't put ANY pressure on me to buy. Since there is a 100% guarantee, I went ahead and purchased a full office collection (""Grand Estate"") and a full bedroom set (""Louis Philippe""). I have to say, as skeptical as I was to buy online, I didn't have to be. When they say ""real wood"",they mean it. I was more impressed than I could have anticipated- if anyone has any questions, I will gladly answer them: this company has gotten a life long customer! more
