Best Authentic Latin Food.... 10/6/2008

Best Authentic Latin Food I've had in a long time, the location is great, service is very friendly, food is spectacular. I went with my girlfriend she had mexican, I had peruvian and wow, I was blown away on how delicious it was, trust me, I've had mexican & peruvian food in los angeles, but this doesn't compare and prices are very reasonable, they even have a website with their menu/prices larumbalatinmix dot com Pros: Great Food, friendly service, prompt, value more

Worst Cuban food ever! 4/23/2008

Service was awful. Wait staff more interested in playing around than waiting on customers. Food was bland and unexciting. It lacked flavor and was way overpriced. Their fancy fajitas (the name, not the food) were tough and way too chewy...tasted like old frozen meat. There are so many better restaurants in the neighborhood. Pass on this overpriced, overcooked tasteless experience for something else! Pros: none; only gave it one star because I had too Cons: the food, the service, the price more

I'm a bit surprised to hear the not so good reviews. Every place has their quircks and bad moments. The time I went was great. The employees were nice, the food was good. I did have a pleasurable experience there. more

Wonderful Cuban and Peruvian experience 1/2/2008

I'm not sure what spawned the mixed reviews (or poor reviews) some folks have left. This restaurant has become one of our favorites. Granted, when they've been extra busy now and then we've experienced some slow service, but that is the same anywhere. The food is consistently fresh and excellent. Avoid M-Fand Weekends 9/10/2007

This place was a disappointment. I was happy to see a latin american restaurant, but sadly since I walked in and was greeted by an unhappy employee, things went down from there. The food I ordered was bad, it was warm, not hot, bread was dry. I think the owner of this place needs to do something to improve it, it has potential. Pros: Location Cons: Service, food. more

Traditional Cuban in Santa Clarita? 7/10/2007

This neighborhood restaurant has been one of my favorites for over 4 years. I have very fond memories of great Cuban food and excellent service. The service is leisurely -typical to Latin Cuisine-and the food is delicious. The lechon asado is spectacular and traditional. I do not recommend the paella. Recently added Peruvian dishes to the menu. Lomo Saltado, here I come! Pros: Traditional Cuban-Yummy! Yummy! Cons: Traditional Cuban-Makes me sleepy after eating more

LA RUMBA ROPA VIEJA BEST IN L.A. 8/24/2006

We have visited this restaurant twice recently. It is quite good and not overpriced. The food is mostly Cuban with some tasty dishes from other South American countries on the menu. In my opinion, the ropa vieja is better than Versailles or La Floridita. I am from Miami and I love Cuban food. This restaurant is the closest thing to a real Cuban restaurant in Southern California. Everything we've ordered there has been right on the money. I highly recommend this restaurant. Pros: great food at a reasonable price Cons: the restaurant is in a mini-mall and it is not big -it's cozy. more

Mixed Reviews 8/1/2005

I've eaten here 2 or 3 times. I haved mixed feelings about it. The stew was fabulous, the [whatever their fancy name was for plain fajitas] was a dud and overpriced. Mojitos and service are good. I'd probably give this place one more try. Pros: Stew, Ambience, Mojitos Cons: Hit or Miss more
