I'm not sure what planet ldamron lives on, but there is certainly not plenty to do here. If the admission was $8 per person, I'd say it may be worth a visit. We paid $16 per person + tax, and at that price this place is a joke. With parking, it's was around $40 for my son and I. I agree with the poster who recommended the Rock N' River for a few bucks a person. Much cleaner, only a few bucks, and has a much better pool. My son did have fun, but he would have had just as much fun in our community pool, which is free. I guess I'm spoiled or something, cause this place just plain sucks. more

WARNING DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY AT VOLENTE BEACH 5/21/2011

Calling Volente Beach a ""water park"" is like calling Jack in the Box a ""fine dining establishment."" If you were to take the Schlitterbahn water park and divide it into, say, 200 pieces, then one of those pieces would be the size of Volente Beach more

I'm not sure as to why people are so negative about this place...there is plenty do on a hot Saturday. The price may be a little more expensive than I would have liked but they offer so many coupons that you can easily get a discount. They also offer a senior discount as well as military. For those of you who are looking for a half day trip they offer a twilight special where EVERYONE gets in for 11.99. more

Don't make the same mistake I did 7/8/2009

This place is a huge disappointment. It is expensive (anyone over about 5 years old pays adult prices) and, most importantly, THERE IS ALMOST NOTHING TO DO! We left after a short period of time because the kids we bored. There is a place called RockN River in Round Rock that is as good as this dump but only costs a few dollars. Or, pay a few dollars more and go to Schlitterbahn. But, seriously, stay away from this place. Pros: The lifeguards are attentive Cons: Most everything: cost, poor maintenance, nothing to do more

Great place for young kids! 3/23/2009

Great place if you need somewhere reasonable to spend the day for younger kids. they have a few rides and you can definately keep your eyes on what the kids are doing. Pros: small waterslides Cons: not much for older kids more

Over priced and underwhelming 8/10/2008

Do not go to Volente Beach if your child is older than 8. There are only two rides for older children. The rest of the park is for toddlers. Pros: Location Cons: outdated, dirty, overpriced more

Expensive & Bad Customer Service 7/18/2007

My family and I have gone to Volente Beach once on our own and twice at a company function. We were unhappy with the outrageous prices, terrible food, and bad customer service. At our last function the food came out 2 hours late and was almost inedible. We asked for a refund and they offered free pass to the park for another day. Why would we want to go back to a place that we did not enjoy?? They have a NO refund policy which in my opinion is not great customer service! more
