Do not buy from La Mesa RV!\r We bought a 34’ Motor Home from La Mesa RV at the Qualcomm Stadium RV sale: La Mesa RV did not disclose California “Prop 65” (the presence of chemicals Known by the state of California to cause Cancer”, specifically the problem with Formaldehyde in RVs), anywhere at the show. We took our first trip and I became Very Sick! When we returned (early) I called La Mesa RV, their representative admitted that there was no notice of “prop 65” at the Qualcomm stadium sale. To this day I have serious repertory pain; my Dr. has diagnosed me with “severe injury to the lungs from over exposure to Formaldehyde”. We have been treated so rudely by La Mesa RV that we have been forced to take the legal approach. \r Of course now, after the fact, we hear all of the horror stories! Stay away! They couldn’t care less about you, your health or the health of your family. Ironically the motor home that they sold us is Beautiful, but a piece of JUNK! We only used it on that one trip because of the Formaldehyde and we will not resell it to other unsuspecting people. AVOID La Mesa RV at all cost! \r I wish that I had received this warning. I really hate that I have to write this complaint. I am partially at fault for trusting my salesperson. I was told that my 2008 Camper would come with a 30 day warranty and anything that should go wrong would be covered. However, problems that I am experiencing right now, they are claiming that the warranty is 50/50. Instead of accepting this ridiculous offer from these crooks, I will just repair the darn thing myself. I am just glad that this is a cheap repair. I'd like to see the crap they would pull with a more expensive item. They gave me a lot of grief for a $200 part. Later, the salesman actually told me that the warranty changes daily and that, even though, he told me it was 100% there is nothing he can do about it. Don't let these cons anywhere near your business Pros: Very Nice and they tell you want you want to hear Cons: Sign on the line and you are on your own. more
