La Mattina's Plumbing & Htg

I recently had a problem with my heating system. It was making a noise like it was trying to turn on, but never did. With 3 kids in the house, I needed to get this fixed ASAP. Some of the other local plumbing companies I found through the internet said they ""Would have to see, but given the age of the unit I should consider replacing it"". After talking to Bob, owner of La Mattina Plumbing, he told me what he thought it was and can come down and take a look as soon as he was able to. Where he knew the urgency of the situation, he promptly came down within a few hours and realized it was an ignitor that had to be replaced. Best thing is that he had the part in his truck. he says "" I try to keep the most common Manufacturer stock items available."" After he replaced the ignitor. I was back in the heat within 30 minutes and didn't need to replace the whole heating system. Now I understand why he has a Better Business Bureau high rating. I was having a heating problem myself and since moving here from out of state, I had no idea where to turn. Before I go any further. I'm usually a (they wont let me write the better business site) kinda person. I feel those are the only reliable ratings in truly knowing how honest a company is. I picked 5 companies in my area and Lamattina's was one of them. I was shocked to see they had an A+ rating. To be honest, I've never seen a rating so high. When the owner arrived to my house he was EXTREMELY rude. But he had been recommended so I let it go. ( I hadn't answered the door as quickly as he wanted. I didn't hear the bell the first time but did the second time. Big deal) Long story short, $200.00 to light the pilot on the heating system and a total of 10 to 15 minutes in my house. and it wasn't even a weekend. Stay away....thieves.
