Pretty Good Tacos - Very Friendly Service 10/15/2010

Whenever I go to La Herradura, I'm always greeted warmly. The staff is always very nice, and unlike most other similar taco places, they actually bring you your food, and come by and check on you. The service is always excellent. The tacos are quite good, but there are a lot of taco places in the vicinity, and this isn't my #1. Top three maybe. more

The Best Late Night Spot In Gresham 8/11/2009

Where else in gresham can you go and get a carne asada plate this good at 2:00AM? With great prices and a really easy going staff that dosent mind you watching futbol on telemundo for an hour after you eat; i definitely give this place 5 stars for families, college and high school kids and the late night crowd. Pros: awsome food, casual staff, great prices Cons: nothing more

Wonderful Food, Easy on the Wallet 1/7/2009

This is a gem of a restaurant. The best green salsa ever, bar none. They should bottle it and sell it. I can feed my family of dad, mom and 2 teenage boys for under $20 and be full. The service is very quick and pleasant. You can choose low priced items like a shrimp tostada for $3.75 or a breakfast burrito for $2.75 or opt for more elaborate seafood dishes that top out around ten dollars. The food is so authentic that the Spanish classes at Gresham High encorporate the menu and the food itself in their lessons. It is healthy Mexican food, not the kind dripping in tons of yellow cheese. Lots of Hispanic families eat here. The Gresham police are frequent customers and it is a favorite for the Gresham High Choir. The decor is pure strip mall, but who cares when the food is so good? Pros: Delicous food, great service and value Cons: can't think of any more

The most authentic Mexican 4/28/2008

This is, by far, my favorite Mexican food place in the entire Portland area! The service is great (especially if the owner, Alma, waits on you), the food is very reasonably priced and completely authentic. Their green salsa is spicy, but still very flavorful. It's not on the menu, but if you ask, you can get a combo plate of 2 tacos with your choice of meat with beans and rice for $3.50 at any time of day. Pros: authentic, good value, good service, family friendly Cons: only one large table more
