I had been seeing Dr. LaFauci for about a year and kept having to go back because he convinced my all of my old fillings needed to be changed to white fillings. He neglected to mention these fillings break easily and I would have to watch what I eat, so I ended up have my replacements replaced several times. After a year of frustration, he suggested I get veneers to prevent cracking and chipping my teeth - he even offered me a deal in which he would fill out a false insurance claim saying he did a complex filling instead of veneers so he would get paid for the work, but I wouldn't pay the full balance because he was so anxious to put his first set of veneers on a patients teeth (I didn't know it was his first time, either). I was given an estimate of $500 with the expectations that my teeth would be perfect for 7-10 years to come he said. That was 1 year ago. Since then, I have been to 4 different dentists, all of which said he did a horrid job and have caused me additional dental work and expenses as a result, not to mention he had the audacity to try and bill me $1700 for the service, then $1300, then $1100, then $900.....Each dentist commented on his lack of detail - he did not clean out the areas behind my teeth properly and as a result, I had to have the veneers sanded down, cavities drilled out, and then the veneers bonded back. Now the back of my top teeth feel like they are about 10 ft deep due to all the bonding that needed to be done as a result of Dr. LaFauci's ""experiment."" Do not bother going, you'll get bad advice and wait forever because he is always in back playing poker on the computer, which he talks about so much while you're in the chair that it makes you sick to your stomach. Anyway, since I stopped seeing Lafauci, I have spent over $2000 fixing his mess. Good luck to anyone entrusting their smile to this guy.
