well, i didnt want to drive all the way out to this place and then when i saw the outside, i was like ""o great"". BUT, wow. the salad was great - just like my grandma used to make. the meat ravioli was TO DIE FOR. i havent had homemade noodles like that in soooo long. i had a bite of everyones meal and one thing was better than the next. we got enough left overs to feed us for 3 days - the size of the meals is definately enough to share a meal for a more romantic feel. anyway, it's a diamond in the rough, a real sleeper - it's worth the drive!! They have the best food but the staff is the worst wow you would think the owners would require the staff to be friendlier and more attentive they have a Huge potential for loss due to poor service. more

After years of eating here, we finally said no more. A few evenings ago we went for a family birthday. We had eight people in our party and were seated promptly. Our appetizers were done and the main course was being served. As the last plate was being placed for service, the waitress knocked over a glass that in turn broke two others on the table and glass. Glass fragments went flying (not to mention the $45 wine that was in the glasses). OK, our waitress apologized, but when we requested that the meals be replaced, we were told they would only replace one of the meals. After several minutes of discussion, rather than get additionally upset with who I believed was the floor manager, we all stepped back from our seats and I asked for the check. Another person from the back came out and tried to have me understand why they made their decision not to replace the food. I told them I'm paying for it and refused to allow my family eat it, why don't you and your staff sit down and enjoy! My comments were met with a blank stare from wait staff along with a silent regret from the manager that the meals were not replaced. I paid the check ($157) and we went to another restaurant for a wonderful finish to our evening. Oh, the actual cost for not replacing the meals...based on my habit of eating there on a monthly basis, probably over $2500+ over the course ot the next year as we won't be back.. We drive 25 miles to eat here! We love the food. Pastas are the greatest. Have never tried one of their meat dishes because I can't get past the great pasta dishes! salads have a very tasty house Italian dressing and are fresh. Lots of waitresses so you don't wait long for service. We usually come in a huge group so we make reservations and get in quickly and are served quickly. The atmosphere is quaint, a little close when it's full. That's the reason for the ""9"" rating. Everything else is above par. Cost is average for an excellent Italian dinner. My recommendation is try it, you'll go often. Pros: parking, service, pasta Cons: little crowded when full more
