My bad experience happened about 7 months before the bad experience on 10/10/09. When I went they were still located in the tiny little space super over packed with merchandise. I made my way to that horrible congested area because of the rave reviews from a friend of mine. We got there at 4:30 and I was rushed through the process and quickly rushed out with 2 bra's (expensive bra's) I thought were perfect. I thought they were perfect because that's what the owner told me, that they were what I wanted. You get what you pay for and I expected to pay top dollar for quality, however, when I got home I realized, I was coming out of the bra over the top. Because I was so rushed, I didn't even have a chance to move around in them. So, back I went on Sunday to La De Da, they are closed. I should have called. I go back on a weekday and told them I was unhappy with what I had gotten and the service and ""attention"" that was supposed to be the selling point. I ended up leaving with 2 of the best bras EVER! I love them and will now order them online. Deciding to give them the benefit of the doubt, and knowing they had moved to a much bigger space, I wanted to take my mother for her birthday to get a couple nice bras. I thought that maybe my experience was not the norm.... Fighting the even worse traffic now, (the area is under construction), we get there nice and early on a saturday morning. The place is still over packed with merchandise and the owner swiftly takes my mom in the back, picks out bras to give to her, never asking my mom what she is looking for in a bra. This lady think she knows what people want without even asking and by the time you are rushed out, you ask yourself, what the hell just happened! In and out, fast fast fast!!! My mom walked out with 2 bras also around 200 bucks. Mom gets home and they are everything she does not like in a bra, but, didn't have time to get the feel of it in the store. I feel terrible that she has to drive all the way back. I feel terrible that the owner was in LA so the staff was completely unable to help my mom return them. Both still had the tags on them and were in the package. She wore one around her house to get the feel of it, she didn't jog in it! They refused to help her and issued her a credit to the store. Even with the tags still on. All I can say is, after two bad experiences with this place, there will not be a third. My mom tried to sell her credit to the store but ended up giving it to me because she was so mad at them. I'll spend the credit that's for sure, but will relay this story to anyone who will listen and will also make it known when I but some of their over priced panties.
