I know retail must be really stressful, but when spending THAT MUCH MONEY, customers should be treated a little nicer. There's some really good stuff, but you have to wade through the poor quality/high price stuff first. I ended up with 4 bras, but could only wear 2. Unfortunately, no returns. Bummer. I've been into see these ladies on multiple occastions and I am a very small girl with a large chest (30G)and have never found a place that fits me so perfect as they do. I've been shopping for bras with some of these ladies since 1998, when they were with Sheer Fantasy Lingerie on 1960 (another great shop if you're on the north side). For all the folks that had a bad experience, I am truly sorry, because there aren't any other shops like this in that area to assist you. They'll even special order for you. Department stores won't do that! If you are open-minded and patient, you will have the best experience. I wear a 34I, so sometimes I leave with great purchases, and sometimes I leave empty handed. And, you can't expect to catch each employee on a high note on every visit. The workers (owner and manager included) are human. People make mistakes. People have bad days. Some of the nicest people are sometimes rude (intentionally, or no). They're not brain surgeons either, but fitting women for bras is probably... Well let's just say it doesn't provide one with a stress-free working environment, especially when there's such a high demand. You're shopping here to find a great bra with a great fit (that doesn't come cheap either). I don't mind the chaos. It keeps my mind focused on something other than how I am standing there holding the sisters up in the ""3rd degree"" mirror, so they're not hanging in my pockets when the assistant pops in with another busload of bras to try. HA! Anyway, they're opening a new location, just down the road a bit, so be on the lookout for a larger venue soon. I would suggest that if you've had a bad experience, either give them another shot, like your first time never happened (as we've all done before girls). Or, register your complaint with the store. I guarantee it never happens to you again and they'll appreciate your feedback. They're out to make a profit. They want returning clientele. They don't wake up thinking, ""Hmmm, I wonder just how many potentially-long-term clients I can run off today?"" Here's to great fitting bras served up by maybe-not-so-down-to-earth fellow women. I am a very petite girl with a 32E chest. I was sent to La De Da because I couldn't find a bra that would fit me anywhere. When I went in I was wearing a 34C and couldn't understand why my bras didn't fit correctly. The ladies helped me find so many cute bras that actually fit. The funny thing is I went to Victoria Secret the same day and the girl told me I wore a 32D and that they didn't carry that size in the store. I have been back to La DE DA several times and will never buy a bra anywhere else. The staff is amazing, and very sweet. They may get busy and you have to wait for a fitting room, but it is well worth it. The bras are not much more expensive than the ones I used to buy at victoria secret, and they always having matching undies to go with them as well. GREAT GREAT place to buy you fine lingerie. I went into this shop Saturday morning at 10am. I walked in and was greeted immediately with a Good Morning and then this great tall blonde salesperson asked if she could help and I told her I saw a show on Oprah regarding bra's and how I was having trouble at 43 finding a good bra. She said follow me and into a dressing room we went, no tape no measuring, she came back with 4 bras. I have to say she taught me how to wear the right bra. You can now read what my t-shirts say and I have to say I feel great. I look much better and the relief of pain off my middle back was tremendous, I actually feel like I have good posture again. I cannot say enough about this shop, or the ladies who work there. The experience was not intimidating or uncomfortable. I am not a small woman, so it was nice to be treated as though I was normal size person and especially by someone who was tall thin and pretty, those are usually the ones who make you feel out of place and uncomfortable, but not here. This is an investment that is well worth it! I will be a long term customer now and will be sending everyone I know there. I love this place!!! I too disagree with the prior posts about the staf being rude. First off, I work with dogs for a living and the first time I went in there, by hair was dishevled, my work clothes had dog hair on them and I did not smell the greatest. The lady I got did not treat me poorly at all. I did not go in there looking like I was dripping with money but that didn't seem to matter. She took one look at me and said I was wearing the wrong size which impressed me. I was a bit shocked when she came in and told me to ""take it off"", she could tell I was not quite ready for that, so she said to hold my bra in front of my chest while she put the new one up. I walked out wih two bras and went back a few months later for a third. I previously bought DD when in fact I wear a G cup. So I feel the $65 I spent on a bra was more than worth the ""boost"" it gave me. My confidance was higher because not only did it support me better, it made me look like I had lost 10 pounds and everyone noticed something, but couldn't quite figure out what it was. My posture was better so my back hurt less. That was one and a half years ago and I plan on returning for a very long time. I have sent many family members, friends and clients to these women. Pros: Great bras, friendly & helpful staff, caters to breast cancer survivors and post sugery needs Cons: a bit pricey, but well worth it! more

What in the world is wrong with all these people saying these ladies are rude? Probably because they expect to be the ONLY one's being catered to. These women are working themselves to death trying to get to everybody fairly. They don't stop for even a minute. They are VERY busy because they are so GOOD!!! It IS a very small place which is why everyone can see and hear all the behind the scene's goings on. I have been a loyal customer for six years and have seen this shop grow. I have sent MANY friends and aquaintances to them and they have all been very pleased. Yes the merchandise can be expensive but they are the very same prices you will pay at Dillard's or Nordstom's only these people know how a bra should REALLY fit. You know that you won't just throw them in a drawer because you bought the wrong thing. They won't let you purchase the wrong thing because they care. If youn get it home and decide you don't like it they will make it good! We all have our favorite salesperson. Mine is the manager. She is very soft and caring with whomever she assists. My wife is a breast cancer survivor and I so very much appreciate that the staff at LaDeDa, one woman in particular, has made my favorite lady feel good about herself again. Brenda is an angel. She treats my wife not only as a great customer, but also as a good friend, and I personally appreciate so much the quality of life and self-esteem she's helped my wife regain. I've seen things get a little crazy in the store (they can be really busy, which is a good thing, I suppose), and patience among the staff can get a little short, but Brenda singularly is always serene, pleasant and professional. People like her, not just salespeople, are hard to find and we're glad we did.. Pros: It seems every customer is treated well Cons: they seem to sometime sweat the small stuff more

Unlike the two women who posted for me, I very much enjoyed my experience at La De Da. Of course, ANYTHING would beat my experience at Top Drawer, which I would NEVER EVER suggest going to. The only problem I have with La De Da is that its size prevents you from really being able to shop around. But the sales associate who assisted me got me into a dressing room, asked me what I want and brought back so many bras, that there at least had to be one I liked. When I explained my budget, she didn't look at me funny or become snooty at all. I ended up with 3 fantastic bras from there. The hand washing detergent they sell is also great. These women are rude. I heard someone yelling at one of the employees probably the owner. Then they pressure you into buying things that are way over priced. I prefer to go somewhere that i can pick out my own bras to try own and not be shoved off into some room where i have no control over what is being brought to me. I went in that store today and wrote a check. My check was declined so i called tele check to find out why. They told me it was an in store decline that the lady at the desk ran it so it would be declined and that my credit is great. So that explains what they were wispering about over in the corner as my check was being ran. I feel like they stereo typed me because I wasnt dressed rich or because I dont come from that area. I have never fealt so humilitated in my life. Then because I kept the bra on after trying it on they told me I was stuck with it. So I had to use a credit card that i keep for emergencies only. Yes I like the bra and i really needed one with this kind of support but I will NEVER return to that place and I will NOT be recommending my friends. In fact I may report them to the Bureau. I have been to La De Da twice. They have some fun murchandise but the women who work there are very rude. When I was in my dressing room I told her the item that I wanted. She kept bringing me stuff that I didn't want so I assumed that they didn't have what I was asking for. When I walked out of the store I saw an entire section of what I wanted. Love Love Love La De Da !!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I say? I am FINALLY comfortable with the help of the sweet ladies at this marvelous little piece of heaven. I never knew what it was to wear a bra and be comfortable but now I know ! I had no idea it woukd be such a pleasant experience. My doctor referred me to this shop and I will forever be grateful. I thought something was seriously wrong with me since I had been having some severe breast pain. I found out it was my bra! I was ""professionally "" fit at a department store. HA!!! Don't be fooled. Go to La De Da and let them help you. While I was there I saw women of every shape and size being helped. They even have a bra to sleep in! Amazing!!! They do not descriminate because you may not be the NORMAL??size. I have to admit that I was a little aprehensive about letting someone see me without my blouse on. I was made to feel very much at ease immediately. The owner helped me and said that we would become ""bosom buddies""! I thought that was so cute and sweet. I was only able to get two bras on this first visit but I was treated as if I had spent a thousand dollars. I am going back soon! Pros: The headache of finding the right size bra is eliminated! I just spent the afternoon at La De Da and I left there feeling as if I were a queen. I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. I am a large woman and every single store I have ever gone to has always made me feel very self concious. When I walked into La De Da today I was greeted by not one person , but by THREE!!!! You would have thought that I was somekind of celebrity or something. It wasn't as if they had nothing else to do...they were VERY busy. It is the Saturday before Christmas and the store was packed with people. I was asked to wait for a moment until a dressing room opened up. I certainly didn't mind, if the rooms were full this place must be wonderful. It is afterall in a very nondescript shopping center. How did all these people know to come here? After a few minutes I was escorted into the fitting room and asked what I wished for. All I said was that I wanted a bra to fit. The very knowledgeable salesperson just took a look at me and returned with several bras. All different styles and EVERYONE fit! The only complaint I had was which ones to choose! I was also shown some beautiful nightgowns. I went in for ONE bra and ended up with FIVE. I left feeling like a million dollars. I was so pleased that I went home and got my two daughters who usually shop at the store in the mall and took them back to La De Da. I was educated on the health reasons for a proper bra fit. I wanted to share this with my girls. They too were treated wonderfully and fit properlly. They also found some really cute clothes there too. I am large and they are both small. I trully believe that there is no none this magic place cannot help. I was referred by a friend and I understand why she was so pleased as well. I am so grateful to her for sharing this great find that I bought her a gift certificate while I was there! Thank you La De Da! I feel like a new person!!!!! Now I know why they were so busy. I went to La De Da by recommendation by one of my friends. I would never go back. The bra that I bought is ok, a little pricy, but I'm willing to pay whatever for a good bra. The service by the owner is what would make me never go back. She is very rude to her workers. She orders them around like their her servants, and she talks so loud everyone can her any problems that she might be having with them. When I was waiting for help in the dressing room, I heard her helping a customer. She was telling her how ""great"" this jacket looked on her. When I got done in the dressing room, I walked out and saw the lady wearing the jacket.. She looked hideous. The jacket was to tight and completely not a jacket you would wear in Houston. The owner always seems willing to say just about anything to make a buck. Terrible. I also felt like that because I wasn't dropping $500 on her stuff I wasn't as valuable to her as a customer. I'm not sure who helped me. I think it was either a manager, or maybe the owner. She was very loud and kind of bossy. Anyway, as I was looking, she insisted that I go into the dressing room and she would bring me items to try on. She asked what I was looking for and I told her, only to bring me what I wasn't looking for. I'm a 34DD and wanted something pretty because it's hard to find pretty in that size. She brought me plain and natural in color...I have plenty of that. Suddenly she insisted that I go out into the store and have a look for myself...what I was trying to do in the first place. As I walked out of the dressing room, I saw what the rush to get me out was, someone else was waiting for a room. I recently visited La DE DA's and purchased a bra that fits and supports me beautifully. This wonderful boutique is filled with professional ladies that will help you wear the perfect unmentionables. This is one of the finest boutiques I have ever visited. It is small but cozy and charming. La De Da has a very European feel, The ladies are all so accomodating and sweet. Everytime I visit it is busy. Believe me it is worth the wait. The proper bra fit has changed my life! They really know their stuff!
