La Creme Beauty

I have the pleasure of living a block away from La Creme beauty and like to sneak in every once in the while. The owner is very nice and keeps her store in great order. The products here range from La Luz bath products to Voluspa candles with so much more in between. The lingerie assortment is great with a lot of Hanky Panky brand items. The fragrances really stand out in this beauty supply boutique. I am not sure of the brand names but they are not you ordinary department store countertop perfumes.... rather, vintage, classic, and unique combinations of musks and light flowers really give this boutique it's stand-out product. The prices are reasonable, reflecting the quality products accurately. Right off a Metro 74 busstop on 55th-- indulge and wander in one day. more

I recently was at a loss of what to get a friend for a housewarming gift. After spending a while discouraging myself at U-Village I stumbled upon La Creme Beauty. I should thank the owner, and only employee, for all the help. Not only did she help me pick out the hit-of-the party house warming gift but wrapped it up all purdy for me. I got a set of all natural and bio degradable cleaning products that I ended up getting for myself as well. They have a bunch of things that are very girlie - perfumes, soaps, candles and even a few clothing items. I still think it's a great place for straight guys to start the process of getting out of the dog house just don't do it with cleaning supplies! more
