This place is the most authentic Mexican food I have EVER tasted. The food was wonderful (and smelled wonderful), not the same kind of Mexican food you find at big chains. The entrees are small and do not include rice and bean...everything is al a carte, so you can mix and match. The 12 of us ended up sharing almost everything...there was a lot of ""you've got to try this"". The atmosphere was very festive. The walls are covered with family photos of Oaxaca, but it maintains a modern feel. Above all it was lots of fun, great tequila and good people! If you are in Ballard you must GO! Reservations only accepted for groups more than 7.
Pros: not average mex food, Inexpensive, flat out fun!
Cons: , slow service whenbusy
